WiFi Audio Receiver DIY Module - WA31 Up2Stream Multi-Room Wireless Music Play Converter Components, Make Your Old Speakers Play Music by WiFi, Suitable for AirPlay, DLNA

I have three of these boards to provide WIFI sourced music, PodCasts, book reading, etc., to the Garage, Kitchen, and the screened porch. I will not hesitate to purchase more Arylic products as the need arises. I used one board alone to feed a signal to a 100 watt/channel Receiver/Amplifier and is shown in the striped box, with close up. The other two boards were installed with an 2x50watt amplifier are used as shown in the walnut box. Sourcing power and the speaker feed setup was easy to use. Once setup, the boards maintains the WIFI connection and reconnects consistently when powered on. The initial setup is just a bit convoluted via the 4Airstream app or the Muzo app but once it is used then it is easy to reset if the WIFI name or password is changed. The initial setup is the reason for four stars instead of five stars. Arylic has good products.

I'm pretty happy with the module: it works as advertised, it is easy to setup .. the Android app could be better but works also. If you are not pleased with the app you can download other similar apps from the Google Play store (search for "UPnP"). The module works as a UPnP renderer client within any UPnP/DLNA infrastructure coexisting on the same WiFi network. If you want, you can stream to it directly from a PC or any other device with UPnP controller functionality. Moreover, if you have several modules you can implement the same functionality as Sonos .. the modules will play the same music in sync (!) With each other (think multiroom) or, alternatively, each module will play diferent sources depending on what you want. Highly recommended! When the app gets more polish I'll step the review up to 5 stars :)

Works pretty good, but there are issues.First, it always powers on at full volume. This is a big issue when used with powerful amps. It does not store your last volume setting, so I have to ensure my amps are off while it connects to wifi, then connect my phone, then turn my phone volume down, then power on my amps.Second, it randomly stops playing a song after a few seconds and skips to the next song.If they fix these 2 things, I would give it 5 stars. Otherwise, I likely am going to look for another brand.

The media could not be loaded.  Small and convenient. 5 Volts power. The Android applications does the job but no equalizer functionality.
