Last of the clear, free, simple ANDROIDS?
I bought this phone, although it's not the latest model, because it may be most up-to-date available which is NOT booby-trapped to malfunction / lock unless you let Google own & run your device, with total arbitrary unlimited access to every detail of your life that passes through it.

rubbish phone
This phone is awful it is so slow it just crashes all the time was a present for my 7 year old birthday and really gutted as its no good will be getting her a new one

Sloooooow
This phone is sloooooooow and I haven't even installed anything. Every time you tap anything, there's about half a second to a second delay.... but then again, it's £40... can't have expected too much more - but I expected it to at least be ok with basic apps but even those it really struggles with. It JUST about works enough that it can be used as a back up phone... maybe... but not really to a degree that I'm happy with.Oh I should also mention, the phone tried to do a system update but was so incapable that it ended up going into Android Recovery mode whilst trying to do this and was unable to complete the update
