People really need to stop complaining.
For those who love Smarties and know they're the greatest candy on earth, enjoy! These are exactly what you're expecting.People REALLY need to stop complaining. Yes, the price is insanely marked up. The reason for this is that it's an import. You CAN'T get these in the US and will never be able to. The size/weight of the product is marked on the description AND on the product itself. You know exactly what you're getting so stop complaining that it's "way overpriced". Yes, this will cost you about $3 or $4 in Canada, but somehow it seems cheaper to buy from here than any method of transportation to Canada to stock up.As for the "faded" color, again, those complaining clearly don't know what they're ordering. These aren't loaded with artificial flavors or colors; hence, they're not the super vibrant color they were 15 or 20 years ago.I can't wait for my next order to arrive. I even bought extra so I don't have to share my childhood favorite (and, let's be serious, this is still my adult favorite) with my kids!

Smarties but...
Yes, they are Smarties. And they were received within the promised delivery window. And I do think that $8/bag is a bit much (even for imported candy), but I decided to treat myself. For those unfamiliar with this Canadian confection, it is best described as a "M&M lites" - lighter chocolate covered with a less hearty candy shell.I opened the shipping box, pulled out the bags, and was disappointed. The bags seemed to have spent some time kicking around - or (more correctly) spent some time being kicked around. The bags were not in new condition by any means. I gentle shake of each bag and I could hear fragments of candies settling like sand amongst the more intact pieces. I opened one bag to find broken and discolored candy pieces. Finding it weird that they were discolored, I double-checked the bags. All 3 bags have a best before of 2022 MR 17. Knowing candy generally has a shelf life of far more than 2 months (these were ordered about a week ago), I looked for and found the copyright year on the bottom - 2020! So, yes, they had been kicking around for awhile.Definitely not worth it.

Chocolate smarties!
My daughter wanted these because she thinks they taste better than M&M's. They were exactly what she wanted!

Very good
The package is a little small, but it's definitely as described. I enjoyed eating them smarties.

It is sad that another company in the united states holds the rights to the smarties name
I mean because a company known as the Smarties Candy Company which sells a candy by the same name, which is called Rockets elsewhere is the sole reason why this candy is not selling in this country. I would prefer them over the chalky fake fruity sugar pills that we find in stores here today. I also heard the UK version is even better. If the UK version is that good then it must be amazing.

not worth the hype
Not worth the hype.

AWESOME CANDY
I was worried when everyone in the reviews saying theirs came damaged or opened and they were false. Mine came in a plastic bag THEN the paper on so no tears. Tasted great and reminded me of home in British Columbia. 10/10
