Very reliable plug and play USB device
Very reliable plug and play USB device. No drivers needed. Immediately found by Lync 2010 and Lync 2013, which not always the case with some USB headsets.

Sound quality is excellent but really should work fully with a mac
Mostly positives with a few negatives.sound quality is excellent. I tested the mic moving around the room, up to 5 metres from the microphone and the other end didnt realise I had moved at all the sound was so good. Speaker is very clear. Not ridiculously loud but good enough to fill a 5m x 5m room.When using it with Skype on a PC (and Skype for Business), it worked very well. Mute works, volume controls on the Chat 170 work.Great if you have a PC and not a Mac...the mute and volume buttons work on a PC. So if you have a Mac, the buttons are useless. I've spoken with their support team, I have the latest firmware. Sounds like they just never tested it on a mac, very odd. But you can mute and change volume from the mac no problem.

Highly recommended if you have conference meetings
We use this device for Skype for Business and GotoMeeting whenever there are multiple people in the room. We were frustrated with the low sound from laptop speakers, and the limited ability of the built-in mics on the laptop to pick up what all the people in the room were saying. With this little device you can turn the volume way up and the mic array is good at picking up everyone who is speaking. I even use it when I'm the only one in the room if I don't have a headset handy. The people on the other end comment on how clear I sound.

Great Phone for small conferences or just speaking hands free
I bought this because I do mixed training classes with some students in the room and some over the internet. This allows me to speak hands free and students locally and remotely can hear each other. Great quality and I have had no complaints from remote students. Update: I have used it many times now. The experience for remote callers has been excellent. One of the best tech purchases that I have made in a long time
