does the eb-k make any difference to the dmrez27 as mine carries eb-k at the end.

My Panasonic DVD Recorder is also a DMR EZ28EB-K and works perfectly with the Remote that I bought from Amazon. Looks identical to the original remote.

Replacement for old remote works perfectly

Replaced same model remote which after many years service had developed a fault. This one has some minor modifications to the old one but works perfectly with our Panasonic hard drive recorder.

Ideal replacement

After my old controller gave up the ghost (the pause button stopped working completely) I had a hard job tracking a replacement down but finally found this one. I was a little unsure it would work but took a chance. I need not have worried - worked out of the box and an exact replacement. It arrived as promised, in adequate packaging and in perfect condition. The DVD recorder will probably have packed up by the time this one wears out but would not hesitate to buy again.
