SureFit Stretch Stripe - Wing Chair Slipcover - Brown

I love these slipcovers, the stretchy material and general way they fit my chairs couldn't be better. They look so good that it's not immediately apparent even that slipcovers are on the chairs. Was going to give them 4 stars instead of 5 due to the color being navy (like they are described!) and not a light to medium blue like the picture shown but they deserve 5 stars anyway. I didn't know whether I should rely on the color description of navy or on the picture which is a much lighter blue. Still, this darker color works out fine in our home and we're very pleased with Amazon's service and this product. Not wanting to spend more money I previously bought cotton slipcovers which had no give to them and they frequently pulled out of the places where you tuck them in so they really needed adjusting every day. I am very careful with how much money we spend more due to necessity than taste but the Sure Fit Stretch slipcovers are well worth the extra money and I now would buy no other kind. We did get a great sale price on this product though.

I do like this cover. My husband unpacked it and put it on his chair. It fits pretty well, not a tight fit, but good enough for a family room chair that gets sat in daily. Occasionally, I need to tuck it back in in the back behind the cushion. I like the color and the subtle stripes and that we can wash it when it gets gnarly. Couldn't put the chair in the wash. And the price was very good for this update!

Have read a lot of the reviews around these slipcovers and also looked around for other options. There are very few slipcovers available on the market for wing chairs, Sure Fit have a huge range of colours and materials, and to get one custom made is a lot more expensive. I use this chair every day so it does become loose but I probably only bother re-tucking it once a week and it takes a few seconds to just push folds back in to the gaps.I think you need to have reasonable expectations - it won't fit your wing chair exactly considering every wing chair is different in size and shape. If you wanted a perfect fit, pay for custom made covers - which will be 4 or 5 times more expensive if not more (I had a quote for £380 - 430 GBP in the UK). I knew that my wing chair is on the small size and therefore these covers would be a bit big - I plan on turning it inside out, refitting it on the chair and then pinning the material in - then I will take it off and get it taken in according to the pins in order to get a proper close fit. Considering all this will take is a few hours of my time and a bit of sewing (or even just give it to a seamstress/dress maker) - I still see this cover as decent value for money to get an affordable, washable, easy to fit cover.

The material the slipcovers were made of looked like cheap corduroy pants from the 80's. It really looks just awful. I'd rather put a sheet over the chair.

I got two of these to cover a pair of vintage wing chairs with worn upholstery but were otherwise in perfect condition. They were easy to install and the chairs look like new.

The cover is big, as others have already mentioned. I took a risk and ordered it anyway, and I must say it looks better than I expected. You have to fix it a bit after every sitting, and there's too much fabric in some areas, but the overall image of the chair is now much better than before. For us a slipcover was the only option because at the moment we rent a furnished house.

We bought this to cover a really nice wing chair that had been partially destroyed by cats and this slipcover was the perfect solution. It fits so well you can't tell it's a slipcover unless you get close and examine it. With some tucking and stretching it took less than ten minutes to make it look perfect.The fabric is soft and seems thin but stretches a little so there are very few wrinkles once it's installed. My only suggestion is to use a couple of small pieces of rolled-up cardboard to insert into any deep seams to lock them in. There are hidden Velcro tabs to fasten the fabric under the legs and this keeps it all nice and taut and wrinkle free. The description said it was for a 42" chair (measured from floor to top of the back) but it fit the 45" chair perfectly.We'll eventually get the chair reupholstered (thanks a lot Figaro and Robespierre) but meanwhile, this is the perfect solution.
