GOOD VALUE OVERALL
Solid construction. Instructions could be clearer, and short of some screws. Probably not worth full price, but good value for what I paid.

Good but could be better
After seeing this at a garden centre at twice the price plus delivery, I decided to go with this one off Amazon. The item was delivered after about 4 days by the actual manufacturer. Two very pleasant and helpful men delivered, carried the parts to exactly where I wanted them.Text alerts informed me of their arrival so I was in when needed. I made the decision to paint the seat even though that has voided the 15 year anti rot warranty, but I think it looks better. The stuff I used was Cuprinol garden shades (other brands are available), the colour being "Ocean Mist" (other colours are available). The quality of the wood is not particularly good, having some rough bits and a few splits, but that was also true of the ones I saw at garden centres, so I suppose I must accept it as "rustic".Assembly is quite straight forward but you need to check and double check before any drilling. Some panels need to be in the correct orientation to be correct. It is definitely a two person job as it needs to be held while drilling and screwing together. I suggest familiarise yourself with the sections first using the assembly instructions and the photo.(I did this with the help of my wife and we are both 70 years old, so can't be that bad (I did go to the Ikea school of flatpack assembly !!!).As you will see from the attached photos it looks pretty good although as stated closer inspection of the timber will show the less than perfect quality. The part you actually sit on ,I think should have been smoother to avoid snagging clothes or skin.So all in all I 'm happy with it but only 4 stars due to the quality issue. As for longevity ..well..I personally don't see this lasting for more than about 5/6 years which is why I wasn't too bothered about voiding the 15 year warranty, it just ain't gonna last 15 years.

Lovely Gazebo.....but beware !!
Lovely Gazebo but take note.....1. Do not use the screws and bolts supplied - they are of low quality.2. The assembly instructions ie where the screws go are totally illogical if not dangerous !! - plus the best method for levelling up the sides should be done 'in situ' and not by measuring as said in the instructions.3. Treat the wood before assembly - it does say the wood is pressure treated but it is best to treat the wood making it more waterproof - I suggest using a wood stain (2 coats) like Everbuild EVBWSAP25L 2.5 Litre Quick Dry Wood Stain.4. The easy and SAFE way to assemble this Gazebo is to use 'fixing plates' - I used both 2 and 4 hole plates.5. SECURE THE BASE BEFORE ASSEMBLING ROOF.6. There are slatted bench seats supplied in the kit but I think decking chairs are more comfortable plus would put less stress on the structure.Overall a great looking Gazebo but take care assembling it.Update: The Gazebo has survived a very harsh winter (snow, rain, severe wind) with no problems - the slatted roof means wind just passes straight through without causing any stress on the structure.Adding Willow Screening (see pic 2) as well as looking good provides extra shading and a welcome windbreak - I suggest just using cable ties to secure it so can be easily taken down before the winter months.

A pretty good product
A pretty good product. Arrived on time and all the bits were there. It took me and a friend about two hours to fully assemble it without any particular drama.Once it was all screwed together it's sturdy and comfortable. I would happily recommend it to anyone with a little bit of DIY ability. You don't need to be any sort of expert. Two small niggles which prevent me giving it 5 stars are that the instructions could have been a bit more detailed. I did find some more detailed instructions on the internet and between those and the ones that came with it, we sorted it quickly. No great deal really as it's not rocket science to assemble. The other was there was quite a bit of resin seeping out the wood in places but that will clean up with a quick sand downApart from that, very pleased indeed, more to the point, so is the wife and that makes life much easier !!Do make sure you have a decent electric screw driver though, either that or buy plenty of hand cream for those blisters

Excellent
Looks great. I stained it before assembly which was ok, the instructions could be better. Still enjoyed putting it together. A couple of days later I’ve got plants round it and a clematis growing up one side it looks amazing, would highly recommend this item. The lads from Forest Green who delivered it were great. So sorry about the locals. Welcome to Hull. 🤪

Great Arbour.
Have had two arbours from Forest Garden and cannot fault them... Needs at least two persons to assemble. Instructions could be better displayed....... Very sturdy when set up.Would definitely buy from again.

Nice addition to my garden
Poor/limited/unclear instructions requiring a little trial and error to assemble.Finish on some components quite poor and required sanding before completion.Trellis is stapled on and mine was probably done by someone with their eyes closed as 50% of the staples missed the mark and had to be removed (sharp ends left bare) and trellis re-secured during assembly.Delivery guys were excellent - carried from lorry to where I wanted it in the garden with no fuss.Given it four stars as could have been better but looks really good now it's up!

Excellent value for money, but let down by poor assembly instructions!
A great product, and super value for money, but do note that you have to have some DIY competence about you to assemble this... it is not like IKEA flatpacks and the instructions are very poor (you will also need a drill and at least two people). It probably took an hour longer than necessary to put together due to the poor instructions, and the screws supplied - in some cases - are not quite long enough to ensure a proper grip when erecting.
