Janome Free Arm Embroidery Hoop FA10A for MC9900

Janome Free Arm Embroidery Hoop. This little hoop is great for smaller projects that won't fit onto the larger hoops.So far, I've used it for embroidering small hand towels for the bathroom. I can't wait to get crafty with more smaller gift items. I highly recommend

I embroidered my son’s name on a shirt he picked out at hobby lobby. I had a little difficulty getting it level so I drew a chalk line on the shirt. Turned out perfectly. I ironed on fusible stabilizer on the back. Highly recommend

I purchased this over a month ago and it absolutely works. If the hoop option does not show up on your screen, it is because your design is too large for the hoop. Try to decrease the size of your design with the options on your machine. Otherwise, you will need software to reduce the size. This was purchased from a different seller and I am thrilled that I was able to get it for the great price of $78. without the $35 increase which it is now. If you choose not to use this, then buy some sticky stabilizer and use the next size up hoop that comes with your machine.

Pros. Helps get in those narrow place for embroideries using free arm.Cons. Hoop space for embroidering in is small so limits the size of design.

Just what I needed. Wish it came standard with my Janome 9900.

My machine (MC9900), which this hoop is made for, does not allowed its use. It has a selection button for this hoop, but defaults to one of the other hoops as soon as you try to start sewing. It might be because there are no preset embroidery designs that are small enough to use with it. I am still investigating this issue. If anyone has any insight on this from the company, I would appreciate some help. I am hoping I haven’t wasted $90 on this. I really want to work it out and be able to use it.
