Variable quality, some great some not

I bought this kettle two times. Once in 2020 where it lasted 4 and 1/2+ years and probably would have lasted longer but I moved and gave it away. I replaced it then in the summer of 2024 and it has already stopped working 7 months later. So based on my first product I would have said this is the best kettle ever. But based on the replacement I'd say it's crappy. I have reached out to the company, if they fix it or do something to make up for the bad new kettle I will update this review. Edit: the company asked for a video of the issue, which I sent, and they then sent me a replacement kettle. So I'm updating my stars from 2 to 4.
