Best oil filters, hands down. I've cut open several different brands, and these are worth the money.

I prefer Purolator
I have been a Purolator filter user since the 1980s. I now use synthetic oil in my passenger cars and want a quality filter to go with it. My 2014 Patriot now has over 150k miles. You tell me if a little extra for a filter is worth it. I buy online in advance to always have my filters ready at 10k. Cheaper than the corner auto stores, and most don't carry Purolator anyway.

Good Filter, too bad can't get locally.
I've been using the Purolator Boss PBL 12222, filter for a couple of oil changes now. In the past I've used Wix XP57060, both are considered good filters. I have noticed my oil pressure is a bit higher using the Boss filter.I'm not sure if it's due to the filter bypass pressure or the filter medium. I am sending oil from both filter changes in for testing. I wish I could find these 2 filters regularly at the local brick and mortar chains, just not available.

First time I've been excited to install an oil filter
I bought a truck that runs synthetic oil. Not knowing any better I used a we'll call it the "F" filter for my 1st 10k mile oil change. Just a fun little side note. I have a 2014 Ram 1500 and it probably took me a good 10 minutes and a few youtube videos to find where my actual filter was cause I couldn't remember. Now that I know a lot more I changed things up with this last oil change. I did more research and found a good quality and high mileage filter. When this arrived I couldn't believe how heavy it was compared to "F" filter. I will say that going from the "F" filter to this one I was not prepared tool wise. I typically use the oil filter wrench that covers the lower portion of the filter to torque off. This filter was much bigger. I had that moment of panic that it wasn't going to fit my truck. It did fit my truck I just had to switch to an adjustable oil filter wrench to tighten it.I won't know until my 1 year or 10k miles is up how well the filter works but from what I've read about them it should work great. I'm excited to see how the oil looks after running this filter. Oddly enough I was excited to buy this knowing it would make my truck feel better and last longer.

Great product. I do wish they had grips on them but it doesn’t discourage me from buying it
