I have mine to a 5' 2" girl. They worked well for her. I am not a fan of the velcro either. It just seems like it's something that will go bad quickly.Other than that, they are legit wraps in every way in terms of material, stiffness, and so on.

wish i had bought these a long time ago. i believe that they really make a difference in safety and how much you can squat.

These were replacements to some wraps I bought a few years ago that I really liked, but I have to say I like these ones much better. More support, better material, and the velcro is more durable.

Great Knee Wraps

I purchased these knee wraps for the gym and they are excellent, great support and the velcro keeps them in place throughout the workout...

I have used many knee wraps and have a pair of high-quality ones that I use for training. I bought these to wrap my upper leg because of an injury; when they arrived I was surprised that the quality was so good because of the price. They are much longer, which is better, than the description and answers state i.e., around 70 inches compared to the listed 24. Overall, I would buy these if someone is looking for a beginner pair of wraps, is on a serious budget, or needs a second pair.
