Very good, reasonably-priced antivirus product
No installation problems, modest demand on system resources, and good protection.

Horrible amount false positives.
Horrible amount false positives.Used to be good,in years past, but new version flags stuff I know is safe.I no longer trust ESET (used it in the past for years), use any other anti-virus other than this one.Maybe 2015 version won't be junk.

Buyer beware
Was never able to load it into my computer so I have no idea as to how good this Program is. I ended up by getting a different virus Program that works very well. Perhaps I may have not loaded it properly as others seem quite satisfied with it.

Key Code did not work but Amazon refunded me.
key code did not work.It was for an expired trial. So I bought eset 8.0 and found it to be non-intrusive. You can elect types of scans. It found some trojans in the 4 months that I have had it. Malwarebytes found others when Eset did not and vice versa. I had to run sophos as well to get the last two since my PC was slowing down and seemed to be infected. It seems that they all have different strengths but this product is easy to use, not intrusive and annoying like Norton. It's made in Germany and the support website has announcements in German only and since I don't read or speak German, I do not know what they are about. When you first sign in it says support in Englush and a few other words then the rest is all German. There is enough information to tell you how to send them a question in English and they will get back to you. They do not have a phone number to call if that is important to you. I have tried them all and so far I like how this is not hounding you to add products as frequently as its counterparts. I would recommend also using Heimdal to update all your software since that is really the most important way to protect yourself from a "take-over"

A Good Quality Software - Beats Mcafee and Norton.
I like this software. It also comes with another software like the Microsoft called TCP view which lets you see programs that may be harmful to your computer. If you want quality you have to pay something and this is the software to get. When I used McaFee or Norton I had issues surfing the web. With this program no issue.I will give you a suggestion that when you use it check your setting on it make sure it scan all drives it gives you that option. Its a dam good software that gives me some peace of mind. This company has other software programs also this may not be the best one they have but it gets the viruses.

An antivirus system that sips intead of saps resources.
ESET's NOD32 Antivirus software is renown for its' limited use of computer resources. I run it on a very old HP and it is utterly unobtrusive. It integrated seamlessly with both Windows 7 and Microsoft Defender. The updates are daily and automatic. I choose to run the scans manually but the Windows task manager can be used to automate those. The program size is as big as the ISP provided antivirus programs, greater than 100K, but it doesn't jam my single core AMD processor even when I'm running media files or surfing the internet.

Best product found in past 2 years
I'm a PC expert and have been hands-on in the tech business since 1984 and used every commercial and custom developed security programs since the early days of Norton Utilities. I have seen the same cyclical trap that every single software security vendor gets into from version 1.0 to whatever they reach before being bought out or going out of business. Those experienced readers know what I'm talking about - BLOATWARE!They start out lean and aggressive doing one thing only and doing it well. But as stupid management driven by sales numbers only get involved, each future release gets bigger and bigger adding features that are NOT necessary all in the same attempt they all try which is to become one all encompassing security package to protect you from everything. Crackers and thieves just laugh. The all-in-one packages just become such system memory and CPU hogs that you can't even use the computer. I see it over and over again. So I change products usually when it reaches version 3 or 4.0.I highly recommend using only programs that do one thing and even though they may also have an all-in-one I will only use the specific separate programs such as antivirus or firewall etc.And this ESET NOD32 Antivirus still does that part well. But they really need to change the product name - this one is lame for marketing.
