Good Quality Item and Fast Delivery.
I am a retired engineer and have been involved with various aspects of tool machinery and I have a good idea the difference between poor and good quality engineering. My personal review on this saw I purchased is very good on both build and functionality. For the price I am really impressed and this saw from Tacklife I cannot fault it after using it today. The laser line was good and no adjustment needed for my first cut.The laser has an additional slide on cover to protect the on/off switch which is a nice thought by tacklife. The removable side handle gives good support to the machine body if needed when operating, just clamps into grooves then is securely fixed by turning the hand grip which tightens the clamp fixture. The saw has a good balance not to heavy and not to light when cutting.Instruction manual is good, it's not a couple of pages, but a proper book that gives good step by step reading with illustrations and safety aspects.Very well packaged from manufacturers with moulded polystyrene inserts around the saw.The 5 spare blades have flexible tubing around the blade teeth which is another quality point. So all in all for Seventy odd quid it's got to be my best buy for my wood working tools. The 6 supplied blades alone would cost around £30 to £40 and other online sites do sell the blades for this saw, so that's not an issue for choice.Go for it you will not be dissappointed. Thanks Tacklife and Amazon for making my day.

A quality saw
I have been looking to buy a mini circular saw for sometime I'm and I have looked at a lot of different ones. I have also checked out videos on YouTube of some of the better ones. I decided on the tacklife for several reasons. Firstly the tapered design makes it very comfortable and easy to hold, also this is the only mini saw I found that came supplied with a handle for extra stability which fits on very easily with a precise locking mechanism. It fits on both sides so it's perfect for left or right-handed people. The safety guard that covers the blade is also well made of metal with no no slack sideways movement unlike some of the cheaper ones which even have plastic guards. The adjustable depth gauge is calibrated in in centimetres and millimetres to make precise measurements easy. An allen key is included for changing the cutting blade it is securely held in a holder on the power cable. Some similar but inferior models are about 30% cheaper but this saw comes with 6 cutting blades which more than make up the price difference. Also included is a two-piece dust extraction fitting a flexible hose which is included on other models but not on this would have been a welcome addition for this quality saw. The very useful Edge guide is also calibrated in centimetres. The laser beam is very bright to help make accurate cuts it also comes with a cover to put over the on off switch when not in use it's important to switch it off otherwise you will flatten the battery. The cable comes with a velcro strap to keep the cable mate when not in use .On balance this is an excellent saw and very easy to use. My only gripe which is a big one is the lack of a case it would be so useful with the spare blades Edge guide vacuum cleaner extension and removable handle to have everything in one place.

Comfortable to use and worth the money
I'v never heard of the brand tacklife before, so i was a bit worried about the quality of it, usually i would pick one up from B&Q but i needed it asap and didnt want to go out and get one, it came the next day and all i can say is WOW! Its really good quality and comes with multiple blades which is a nice touch. I'v only used it to cut through 16mm mdf so far but it was a breeze. I attached it to my dyson hoover using the attachnents provided and there was very little dust. Would definately recommend to anyone needing a handheld circular saw.

Good tool but takes getting used to.
Decent tool, not easy to operate the switches, not easy to find 120mm replacement blades and a storage box would also be good, laser light didn't last long.

Very handy tool.
Excellent tool. I have only used on timber so far but am getting a very good finish with each cut. I find best results using the guide but have used the laser as well. I think the finish is good enough for many jobs to not even require planing. Only gripe is that it is not supplied with a box. I therefore made one using some leftover ply and only required a light sanding on the edges before assembly. Very satisfied with my purchase. Intend to do some tiling soon so hope the results will be as good.

My preferred saw now.
Remarkably handy saw, I've had mine for a few weeks now, I got it for a fencing project and am well pleased with it. Handy, light, easy to use. A cordless one would be superb, but they are very expensive and this corded one is the best option if you have access to mains electricity. Spare blades are expensive so it's worth trying not to cut through nails, but this offer comes with half-a-dozen assorted blades and I am still using the original blade after over a hundred cuts of sawn timber. Cutting depth is 4cm which is fine for most DIY projects. Has a laser line (which I think is a bit gimmicky, but might be important to you..) and adjustable depth and angle of cut. Twin button operation for safety. Can be connected to a vacuum cleaner for dust removal. This is my preferred saw now, until you use one you wont realise just how useful it is. Recommended.

Good solid tool
Cuts fast and neat, easy to change blades, once used to it accuracy gets better, really handy tool to have close by in the workshop. A little difficult to find a storage position as it does not stand easily, a case would have helped, but I'm sure theres a solution to storing it.

Awesome
Cuts straight, very powerful, no issues so far. Very easy to change blades. Seems like a sturdy, well made bit of kit, very happy with it. Laser sight it aligned nicely. Wish it came with a carry case though, but nevermind.
