An extremely functional Weekender, the blink is a big bag trapped in a little bag's body. Thoughtful design details make it carry more than expected. The sleek shape means you'll fit in anywhere you go. Super cushy backpack straps have hidden suspension for support, and air mesh back panel keeps your shirts crisp, and a large clamshell opening eliminates un/packing stress so you can really get away.

Great Central Compartment, Dirties Easily and Quickly, Bigger Than It Looks
Like and dislike certain aspects of this backpack. I ordered the Timbuk2 Blink Pack in Jet Black for a recent trip to Asia, I used it as my "personal item" on the plane.Like:> LOTS of space, the front pocket opens up like a suitcase and makes packing a breeze.> Very deep central compartment and specialized laptop area in the back, for TSA/security check ease too!> The water bottle pocket at the front easily fits a 40 oz hydroflask> Overall build is well made and sturdy, zippers are excellent and there are many thoughtful pockets, you'll never have to reach and hunt for your cell phone with this bag> Top haul loop is very sturdy and thick, you can hang this thing from anything pretty easilyMeh:> I'm a petite female (5'2") and it definitely is veering on the side of "too big" if I over-stuff it> It's also a very long bag, it reaches down toward my butt and covers my entire back.> When it gets over-stuffed, it gets super big and the compression straps don't actually "compress" - I think they should've added more straps on the bottom to compress the whole thing rather than just at the top> If I put the water bottle in (or even my Macbook) I feel like the weight isn't as well distributed as it could be, my back will start to hurt when I carry this bag> Chest strap is far too thin to actually use for me, I didn't enjoy this feature much> On the plane, pulling this thing out with my camera equipment, laptop, etc was a burden because it was just too big to be an "under airplane seat" backpack. (that's probably my mistake though)> The bag looks sleek and shiny like it won't attract dust or dirt, but somehow dust AND dirt stick SUPER easily too it? And it's hard to wipe clean - I don't understand how the backpack material can attract so much direct so easilyOverall for the price this is still a quality backpack and comes with the lifetime Timbuk 2 warranty so I'd say go for it if you're considering it. I could still return it but I think I've fallen in love with the fact that it opens like a suitcase. I normally really love front loading backpacks (like from the top vs zipping all the way around) but the ease of adding clothes into this bag still makes it a great weekender bag for me.As long as I'm not carrying it over long distances or traveling on an airplane with it, I'm still happy using it. But just bear those small design features in mind if you're considering this bag for travel or commuting - it takes up space and is a LOT bigger than it looks, in my opinion.

Surprisingly Durable
I only recently purchased this backpack for bike commuting because my old Swissgear was showing its age and freshman year style. I needed a new bag mostly to carry clothes, a towel, laptop, and any other odds and ends I needed for work. First impressions: Comfortable for its size, looks great, pseudo-clamshell design is excellent for what I needed, and great water bottle holder to top it off.Unfortunately, I was only able to take this bag to work twice. On the second day of my now much easier loaded commute, I got in a bike accident that left me in the hospital for a weekend. I was hit head on by a car going about 40mph as I was turning. While my ribs and sternum cracked under pressure, my legs faltering at the idea of walking soon after, this backpack held up to the test of force. The EMTs even had to cut the straps off of me because the form fitting and comfortable body mounting points were just too strong for my now broken sternum. This backpack also protected my laptop through all of this. I have a 15" glass and metal dell xps, and it emerged from this ordeal with one corner slightly dinged up, where the pack hit the ground at full speed. No broken glass, just a small dent on a fairly sturdy laptop. I can barely even find where this impact happened, as the material on the backpack held up very well, not even poking a hole through to the main compartment,Overall, definitely recommend this backpack for anyone who rides bikes and has any chance of being hit head on by a mid sized van at any point in the future. I would still be using it, but it no longer has any straps, so it's just a glorified handbag now.

A sleek look, but strange pocket-design keeps this one from being a homerun
I impulsively bought this off the Treasure Truck for two reasons: 1) my previous laptop backpack was torn, and 2) I had seen Timbuk2 in a store before and thought they looked great. This bag definitely looks stylish and is well-built, but it's a strange hybrid of computer case and suitcase. The main compartment clamshells open completely (like a suitcase), which is nice when packing some clothes or books, but it's a little wonky trying to get to some of the stuff at the bottom if you're at a coffee shop and don't want your underwear falling out of the bag.The sleeve in the back is made for stowing your laptop, but it's a tight sleeve (I use a 13" Surface Book and it's a two-hand job to get it in or out of the sleeve). And if you have stuff in that main clamshell compartment, it essentially kills the back compartment that is shared with the laptop sleeve - it's too tight to get a power brick in and too deep to risk smaller items sinking out of reach at the very bottom.Overall, it's an okay bag for it's size and style, but Timbuk2 probably has more functional bags in their catalog.

Good design. Good amount of space. Good overall daily backpack. Sleek minimal looks, could do with few more pockets but its ok
Good design. Good amount of space. Dont like the look of compression straps. Build quality is good although I find it a bit expensive. It wasnt one of these bags where I could still pack it with stuff, it reaches its limits quickly. But good overall daily backpack.

NO VIENE COMPLETO! Hace falta los straps los cuales son removibles que ajustan al pecho y son importantes para distribuir el peso en la espalda.

Nice looking bag for EDC or minimalist travel but it's not for me
PROS: Quality materials; good organization; nice lookingThe organization is simple - one small zip pocket on the front, a big main compartment, and a separate laptop compartment. The laptop compartment was well thought out. The pocket for the laptop was suspended from the bottom, so the laptop is protected if the bag is dropped. The laptop compartment is also still accessible when the compression straps on the other part of the bag are cinched, which isn't the case on some bags I've looked at. The central main compartment holds a couple of medium sized packing cubes or one large one with perhaps enough room for a pair of flip flops or slim shoes. Would probably hold about 5 days worth of clothes, enough for the minimalist one-bag traveller. The nicely padded top grab handle is worth a mention too.CONS: Sternum strap not fixed in place; not designed with the female form in mindThe sternum strap slides around easily which could get annoying. The backpack straps are well-padded but didn't curve enough to fit around my bust. Not comfortable at all. Will have to return it for this reason.

Excelente calidad y precio
