Won't overcharge. Does a good job as charger and power bank
It charges cells to a little under 4.2V. The cutoff current is relatively high at around 300mA which means it is likely to be a bit slow with older cells of higher impedance but with the potential volatility of lithium cells it is best to be conservative. This is a good device (with a suitable 2A output power socket adapter) for charging cells in a car as it won't overcharge and if you are driving, you really shouldn't be paying attention to what a charger is doing rather than the road.It'll charge at 2A if the USB power supply is up to the job (Obviously it can't charge at 2A with a 1A USB power supply). 2A is as high as you'd want to charge most 18650 cells.Do not use (it says this in the manual) with cells of less than 2000mAh capacity, this device is not suitable for charging small cells as 2A is far too much for them. They will get hot and could fail catastrophically.It makes a good power bank as well as a charger.
