This is one of the best kitchen tools I have ever used. It is simple but very effective at easily and safely lifting a whole roast chicken from a deep walled dutch oven, which I always use when roasting a whole chicken to keep it moist. It is also great for easily removing a store bought rotisserie chicken from the package. It allows you to easily lift the chicken with only one hand, leaving the other one free to hold the pan, or package. It also allows you to easily and safely tilt the chicken so the juices can be drained from the cavity.

This is a fantastic product! I have owned several products over the years to lift a turkey out of the roaster. None of them have ever really worked well. Some were better than others, but NONE worked like they're supposed to ………… until I purchased this one! It does exactly what it says, & is so easy to use. It's a weird-looking thing, but all you do is slide the pointy end into the cavity & lift up, holding the black handle part. Absolutely nothing to it, & it works like a charm!

I roast whole chickens frequently. While this seemed like a somewhat silly gadget when I purchased it, it works perfectly to lift a roast chicken without damaging the skin. Sometimes silly gadgets are just what you need.

I will use this every Thanksgiving. The metal part is a bit more flexible than you might expect. You may not notice it with a chicken, but with a 12+lb turkey it is a little bouncy while holding the bird horizontally. I don't see this as a major flaw, but you need to use some care when lifting a large bird, especially if it is hot. If you are careless or carry the bird around on it horizontally rather than vertically I could see it slipping off and falling on the floor.

It has completely met my expectations. I had cooked a 16 lb. Turkey and a Large whole ham for Christmas. The lifting tool worked perfectly for removing the Turkey from the roaster to carve. Washed up easily with soap and water! Highly recommend!

For years I have had to figure out new and interesting ways of lifting the turkey out of the pan. Not all worked and caused some issues at Thanksgiving. This device solved it. It has a little give for the heavier turkeys but I was able to lift a 22 lb turkey filled with stuffing with no issue. Great price for a great idea.

I bought a Ninja Foodi for Christmas, and when I tried to remove the chicken from the foodi after baking it, the meat was so tender that when trying to use 2 forks to take it out the whole thing fell apart. I searched online and found this, and it is perfect! Easy to insert and lift the chicken out of the Foodi, and easy to clean.

Used it to manage an 18 pounder on Weber worked well even though the bird was overweight. Better than anything else I've used over the years.

Worked as it should. I was sick and tired of getting greasy oil all over myself. I can't believe I hand't discovered this sooner.

I love this product, it may seem a little indulgent or unnecessary. But after years of struggling to lift the piping hot chicken from roasting tin to carving tray- this is a lifesaver. No more dodgy lifts with a carving fork and knife wedged indignantly at either end! This product enables you to lift the chicken with one hand, firmly and safely. No more risk of spilling hot fat everywhere and the chicken is kept in one piece every time. I am grateful to have it, every single time I use it.

I use a halogen oven and this lifter enables me to lift the bird from oven to carving dish in one easy movement.

Best thing since......whatever. If you haven't overcooked the bird and don't just poke through, and sort taking off the plastic cover, its terrific.
