Heddon Moss Boss Lure's

i love this lure. You can run it topwater or let it sink and flutter and work it fast or slow. Fished it in a canal with lots of weeds and trees. Won't hang up unless you wrap it around a tree branch. I use the 2.5 inch green bullfrog. Caught a 2 lb largie first time out. Have had a few blow ups from pickerel too. Lots of fun to fish this lure. Just ordered three more.

Purchased a few of these of different colors last year from Dick's. Started using them early this spring here in Virginia. They work great, a little twitch of the rod tip allow the lure to scoot on the surface like a frog or mouse would. A little pause to catch the breath and start up again over weed beds or lilys. BAM!, works almost as good as the Hula Poppers. I love these, even the small bass can not resist the noise these make.Heddon has ALWAYS made exceptional lures for decades upon decades and continues to do so. TOO bad though that these are now made In China. These used to be made in Michigan for decades and decades like most of the old time greats. NOT any more. Something about cheaper unethical slave labor and communism that draws these companies to China for manufacturing.Great lure though. Wish they made a smaller one for ultra-lite - NOW that would be something.
