Perfect for extremely loud xylophone part
The conductor was complaining that he couldn't hear the parts in Bartók's "Music for Strings, Percussion, and Celesta", so I got these. No more complaints! The xylophone cut right through the rest of the orchestra perfectly.

I must admit that I was wooed by the look of these mallets. They came and look completely different than the photo. They lack the beautiful dark wood that is pictured.
