Best kitchen tool I have purchased for some time
Was not sure if it would do what I wanted, but after using it a couple of times cannot believe I did not get one ages ago.

I like it a lot
It is the most used thing in the kitchen and rarely for frying. We needed a non stick lidded shallow pan that would work on induction and this fits the bill. Weve had ceramic and other finishes in the past but the tefal has always been the best for us. I particularky like the robust handle which has yet to become loose unlike all other pans with screw on handle. Not cheap but brilliant

Every day pan.
I use this pan everyday, cooks brilliantly, non stick, very easy to clean. I would put this pan in the dishwasher. 2nd one I’ve had, only changed the last one of 10 years as bought an induction hob

Nicely designed, the handle is well shaped and stays cool. The pan shape is great for shallow frying and stews, risottos etc. The lid is good. So, an excellent pan then? Sadly this is yet another same as the rest non stick pan and the finish will wear soon. I used mine everyday for sweating down veg for soups and stews, and the non stick started degrading. I foolishly tried cleaning with an alkaline cleaner, and the non stick peeled off. Oops. Frankly I am sick of non stick. They build up a layer that you cannot remove without damaging the non stick. I've ordered a stainless steel pan. My other stainless steel pan is excellent, but with two side handles, which is less convenient than one long one. That is why I bought the JO pan. There is a reason professionals use stainless steel pans, and usually avoid non stick, except when they are selling them. Pity, because without the non stick coat this would be a lovely pan.
