MarBlue Atlas (new) for Kindle Case, Purple (Fits Kindle Paperwhite, Kindle and Kindle Touch)

I looked at a lot of different cases for my Kindle before I decided to go with this one. I wanted to make sure I chose the perfect cover. The reasons I went this with one were: the color, the handle on the inside and the elastic band that keeps it shut. And after receiving and using this item for a few months, I can confirm that I made the right decision. I'll break it down:- I love the color; I chose the purple because I have a problem and pretty much everything I own is purple. The picture is pretty accurate for the color.- I'm new to the kindle/tablet/e-reader life, but from reading reviews I became aware that I wanted my case to have a handle on the inside. This one does. The strap on the inside of the cover is perfect for reading in bed (and anywhere else really), just strap it to your hand and you're good to go.- This case also has an elastic strap that you can use to keep the case closed when you're not using it and open when you are. This was really important to me because I knew I would want to throw my Kindle in my purse on the go and I didn't want to worry about it getting damaged. The strap keeps it securely shut (and open when you're reading).- Another feature that I like is how it securely holds my device. I have the regular Kindle, and not being familiar with any other Kindle I wasn't sure how mine was going to fit into this case, but it fits perfectly and there is a little elastic strip in each corner to hold the Kindle securely in its place--I've never had it move around at all.- The case is made of quality material. It's a sturdy case with a double stitches on the outside and a soft material on the inside. The cover itself is pretty sturdy. I keep it in my purse sometimes and I've never had trouble with it--it's protects my Kindle well. It's not too bulky, but also not too thin.- It's been a while since I was looking for covers, so I can't remember what the price range was for most of them, but I do know that there are cases more expensive than this, and probably some that are cheaper, but I feel comfortable with the price that I paid for the item I received--it's well worth it.Overall, I love this case and I would definitely recommend it!

I read the reviews on this product and purchased one. I had a magnetic cover to go on my paperwhite. Problem was that throwing this in my bag for work would sometimes open in the bag thus turning on the ereader and draining the battery. I loved my first case with the magnetic feature but hated having to keep recharging my kindle. So, I ordered this one. Just got it yesterday. Beautiful color, I got the purple one. The smell was slight, but anything now a days has a plastic smell to it anyway. Just leave it in your garage to air out for a few days if it bothers you. I began using it right away. The elastic closure that keeps it closed was exactly what I wanted. And the inside strap so you can read one handed works great in bed. I used my right hand so that I could use my thumb to advance the pages. I am very glad I purchased this cover. The reviews below were a great seller.

This case is very pretty...the kindle is held in with elastic straps and I haven't gone out with it yet so I don't know how snugly the kindle will fit in there when I'm reading...I doubt any serious damage will come to the device if it sustains a minor drop while in the case so it affords some protection. The only downside is that there is a very strong and unpleasant smell on the case, I hope it will wear off with time.

I really love this Kindle Case! I purchased it for my Kindle Touch. The device does not slide around at all and fits securely into the case, which is awesome.I also enjoy how sturdy the case is, without being too bulky; however, it does add some heft to the device when it's in my purse.I like that you can flip the front cover all the way back and secure it with the elastic strap. It's super easy to hold it one handed this way. I found that, if I put my Kindle in landscape mode, I could set the case up like a tent and read hands free!

well, what did I expect? very disappointed; pretty much made of paper - this is my fifth kindle and I've always ordered the leather case - this will probably last a week - but your covers are disapointlingly expensive ; my first kindle was wonderful; then some non-thinking robot decided to eliminate the light background and gave us a choice of nothing or a cover with a back light (much worse than the book light but a lot more expensive; finally someone woke up and gave us back the kindle with the back light and I am delighted (4 kindles later - all worn out) and now our reward is a cheap imitation cover; oh, well, remember when we covered our school books with paper bags? they'll probably last longer - oh wait - do they still have paper bags anymore? Disappointed that you offer such poor quality - not like Kindle at all

i really like this cover. The purple color is great! The hand hold slot on the inside of the cover is amazing! The only thing I think would make it a 5 star is if it had a spine making it more square/sturdy. It is a rounded edge so its very easy to flip behind and everything, i just prefer square edges.

It fits perfectly and is comfortable. The only reason why I subtracted a star was that the hand hold is a bit tight so I don't use it. The hand hold was a large reason why I got it. I don't regret the purchase though, I'm very happy with it.

I was used to an easel case with my old Kindle, so I was unsure about this style for my new Paperwhite, but I really enjoy it. The strap on the back of the case allows me to hold it easily for reading by slipping my fingers through it to hold it without cramping my hand.

Good quality and does the job well. Only issue I have is that the 'outer elastic strap' as it is described, is too tight, so bends the front cover downwards and so warps it - For this I have taken a star off. Otherwise, it is a great product and the hand-strap is a handy extra!

This cover is ok, but no more. Device is held in by somewhat tatty elastic straps and composite material gives little confidence in its protective ability. Rather over-priced for what it is!

Excellent description - exactly as described. It is very useful being able to put the elastic around it when open as I can then hold the Kindle in one hand. The Kindle paper white is very light and this function is really usefful for someone with weak arms. The cover also provides good protection for the unit. The colour is great as well!!

Bought this for my new kindle light and it is very good quality. I am a bit concerned that the strap that enable you to hold it with one hand may damage the screen. I hope not

It was recommended to get a cover to protect your kindle - this was purchased on previous recommendations and although a little pricier than others the quality is good and it has a nice finish.
