Great grip , great fit.
Bought these for walking whilst on my skiing holiday. Very comfortable didn’t know they were there fixed well to my walking boots. They have phenomenal grip on ice and snow and could walk down hill with confidence. I was surprised how little they wore out. Think they’ll last a few years. Very good value.

They come off!
Wore them once on my 1.4 mile "daily exercise" circuit. One came off partly. I put it back on hoping that was just a blip. Wore again next day for second time. Three-quarters of the way round I found they had both come off without me noticing. I had no time to go back and search only to retrieve something which is almost worthless so a complete waste of money. On the plus side they work very well when in situ and they come with a complete set of new studs which would be useful if you could keep them on your shoes long enough for the studs to wear out. I am an experienced backpacker having walked thousands of miles and know what I am talking about. Items for this purpose should stay put and not need monitoring every few yards to ensure they are still there.

So far so excellent
Well I've not worn them in snow yet but the trouble I've had with other types of snow grips is the barely fit over my size 10 work boots, these on the other had do, they seem secure enough, top tip wearing these, tie a shoelace around the back of the snow grips and lace up around the front of your shoe / boot so if they come off while your walking you wont lose it.Disclaimer, "I paid for this myself", either during a lightning deal or full price

Suitable for one time use
These were great or so I thought. Used over 6 days and actually worn in the snow and ice for maybe 3 hours, 2 hours on a muddy hill in total I’ve the days. Were cleaned every evening. The studs have rusted and the rubber has torn. To put over shoes is very, removing them as well. Having extra studs would have been useful if the rubber had lasted.

Safety improvements
I had a couple of days when I tried to walk the dog without success due to the ice. After wearing these the problem went away. I now feel safe snow or ice and the dog is happy. They are easy to fit and ready within minutes. I wear them over my hiking boots so maybe I should have ordered the next size up. But they work and work well

Helps save falls on ice
Bought these for my husband in our February cold patch. They slid over his shoes quite well and saved him falling a few times in the recent icy weather. When walking on dry areas you have to take care the spikes don't stick, so take care to lift feet as you're walking.

Great value. Grip my boots well.
I had a more expensive pair of chain and spike Snowline cleats, but actually these ones have been better and are cheaper. The rubber really grips to your shoes / boots. I can more or less forget about them. In contrast, I lost one of the chain style ones because they didn't grip well to the shoe. I got XL as I'm size 11, but actually I think I would have gone from a L maybe for a tighter fit. XL do fit my walking boots though... Recommended in any case.

Not for fishing!!!
I bought these grippers to attach to my wading boots, which I wear to fly fish. I used them the day after purchase for a morning's fishing, only to find when removing them that several of the studs had either lost their metal points or fallen out completely. There was also a tear in the rubber on one gripper.Although ten spare studs are provided with the grippers I have absolutely no confidence that this product would survive more than a couple of future fishing excursions. Returned to Amazon for refund. They probably work great on ice, snow and mud, but if you're planning on using them for walking on really hard surfaces, think again...
