Merrell Barrado Luxe

Merrell Womens Barrado Luxe are wonderful shoes. I typically remove the insert in the shoe and put in my own. Fit is typical Merrell - I order one size up.These shoes are very comfortable - Love them! I have my everyday pair and one for dog shows only. Good traction and with my inserts - can wear them all day. I use a leather cleaner and cloth rag to clean them off.

Considering some of the reviews, I was surprised at the fit and quality of the Merrill Barrado Luxe. It is leather and well made. I wear an 81/2 medium size shoe and have a moderately high arch. I usually order a 1/2 size up for active wearshoes. I didn’t this time because the reviews stated “true to size” and they are a perfect fit. I’m very happy with this shoe.

Would have liked it a less shiny hard leather, as in a suede or relaxed leather upper. As they are though, they are great for travel in cities or country, advantage of comfort of a runner but not looking like one. Previously, I have had a few pairs of mesh Barrado that we're all black, the writing and stitching included, which made them again more suitable for city wear.Your current black mesh Barrado has too light coloured stitching on them, so did not buy those!

I love these shoes. I had a pair like these given to me more than 10 years ago and I loved them but they wore out from constant use. I couldn't find the same kind in the store so many years later, so I figured they were discontinued. They came into my mind again and I found them on Amazon--. I am so happy to have them again. They are so comfortable--almost like walking barefoot.

Was looking for something to replace sneakers with shoelaces. These are so comfortable I hardly know I'm wearing them. Just a touch large, and I have a narrow heel with medium width foot. I'm thrilled. Wore them all day, so comfortable. Also love the shape, not clunky like sneakers. The only thing I don't care for is the Merrill name written in white. I tend to not wear things that have the name splashed all over them. I want to wear clothes, not ads.

The leather seemed well made and overall a good shoe. Looks as pictured.The fit however is too narrow for me, so I returned them.

I have been a fan of this Merrell zip style sneaker-shoe for years. This is the first pair I don't like very much. It is leather, and stiff around the ankle, arch, and bridge of the foot. The previous "mesh" styles had "give" in these areas with firm support under the arch, which made it a comfortable shoe for walking and casual wear. It also has a looser fit. My shoe size hasn't changed and other shoes in the size still fit appropriately. I haven't decided whether I will keep the shoe or return it. Disappointed.

My wife has 2 other pair of merrell shoes, size 9 but this pair all leather was too tight. I sent shoes back and purchase a size 9 1/2 which was perfect...,so the 2 pair she has with “cloth” sides fit perfectly at size 9 but she needed size 9 1/2 in leather shoes. Thank you.., Paul Mitchell MD
