Timbuk2 Mini Ramble Pack

After over a month of daily use, I give this pack five stars.Use: Daily carry of iPad, foldable keyboard, small toolkit, pens, flashlight, cards, bandaids, glasses, books, water to and from work.I had been using a “tactical” bag for a while because it made it easy to access my stuff, but it made me look like a domestic terrorist, so I picked up this one based on my history with excellent Timbuk2 gear.The main zipper is a little difficult, but it’s worth it to have the flap over it that keeps the rain out. Zippers, stitching, buckles, and webbing are all very good and sturdy— not as heavy duty as my 15-year-old Timbuk2 messenger bag, but as good as anything costing 2-3 times what this cost!The pack is comfortable on my large frame, whether wearing it over one shoulder or both. The straps are easy enough to adjust, while not loosening easily by accident. The connection of strap-to-pack is much more robust than it looks in the photos.At first, I did not like the brightly colored accents on the outside pockets, but it makes it easy to spot on a long row of hooks or a pile of coats.Yes, the side pockets will not fit most large water bottles. I knew this before buying the bag, so I cannot counted as a negative. It makes sense to have them the size they are to keep the bag “Mini,” and it will fit many water bottles, or a soda can.Summary: An excellent small-sized pack, worth way more than the $30 price. Best for those who use smaller electronics, as opposed to full-sized laptops and textbooks.

Great little backpack. I’m petite and need something smaller than normal. Zippers are a little stiff at first but that’s probably because it’s small, and the curves are more difficult for the zippers to navigate. Love the little outer pockets. Bottle pockets are too narrow for my Contigo travel mug so you’ll need slimmer water or coffee vessels, which work better.

too small to use for anything but toiletries, too big to use for most people's toiletry collection. Wonderful Timbuk2 quality, love the brand just not the item

This is one of my favorite bags. I've had it about 2 months and it's been great. It is really roomy inside, but doesn't look like one of those ridiculous huge bags women are carrying. The inside is lined in purple so you can actually see in there (no black hole!) The pockets are convenient, the back one fits my Kindle perfectly. I can fit an umprella, a cosmetic bag and my wallet and there's no shifting around that drives me nuts! Everything stays pretty neat and under control. The front phone pocket is great too, easy access. My only suggestion would be maybe a small zipper pocket on back but other than that I hope they come out with some more colors because I love this design.

Bigger than it looks. Holds everything including my Mini iPad and iPhone 6 Plus. Can't go wrong. Fast shipping, highly recommend product.
