Amazing Noise Cancelling and Perfect Crisp Sound + quick connectivity, simple use...
We bought two pairs for the office, to increase productivity. Everyone loves them as they block out the noise and let you focus on your work. The sound is amazing and they are quick to setup and connect. The material quality is great and you really feel like your holding a pair fo premium headphones. The packaging it came in was really nice and made you feel like your opening a personalised gift, with a free leather bag, cables, jack port accessories etc.We even tested them aside a pair of other brands headphones that came at around £300 a pair and have to say there was zero to no difference in the sound or build quality.Cowin SE7 is basically a really good pair of noise cancelling headphones for a great price! Thanks,TamirIKAWA Coffee@ikawahome

Flawed but usable
So I'll start with the good points:The headphones are fairly comfortable (although the headband could use a little work), and the sound quality is pretty good. The noise-canceling is amazing, although I've not got any other headphones to compare it to, it'll wipe out city noise totally, and turns train noises into an easily-ignorable murmur. Only catch with the noise canceling is that it makes the audio substantially less bassy, but I'm not sure whether that's a fault with these headphones or a common trait to all headphones with noise-canceling tech. The battery life is as far as I can tell infinite, I charge it when I get bored and I've only run out of power once when I accidentally left noise cancelling on overnight. Now onto the bad:Shady seller practices:I got offered a full refund if I deleted my review (previously 3 stars). As much as I like free money it didn't sit right with me. I don't even believe that my headphones are faulty as I've got so many issues with so many separate aspects of them. So I docked a star from my review because I've never had a seller text me before and make me choose between my core beliefs and £75!Buggy firmware:Sometimes the headphones go straight into pairing mode the moment they turn on, so you become unable to connect to already-paired devices until you cycle the power. Often when you turn it off it'll say "Pairing" rather than "Power Off" and then I need to check the power LED to see if it's actually shut down. Connecting to the headphones often takes 30 seconds to a minute. There isn't any way to force-disconnect bluetooth devices, so if I want a specific device to connect to them I'll need to go through and make sure the bluetooth on my tablet and PC are off which is annoying.Rough construction:For the most part the headphones are fairly well built, but the LED indicator light-pipes were very sharp and protruded out from the body. I was able to fix this by trimming them with a craft knife, but I wouldn't expect to need to do tweaks like this on a £75 pair of headphones.Odd vibration issue:When I'm in the car and the engine hits a certain RPM the headphones make a loud rumbling noise. I'm not sure whether this is the drivers vibrating or the noise-cancellation being overpowered by the low frequency noise, but either way it's not pleasant at all, I'd hoped these would help me sleep on long car journeys but due to this they actually keep me awake.Low volume resolution:The headphones are too loud even on the quietest volume. I can rectify this on android by using the headphone's volume buttons, but on Windows this controls the system volume and for some reason these headphones refuse to work below 6% volume, beeping angrily if I try.Sound muting:The headphones cut off their audio if they detect two seconds of no noise - presumably for power-saving reasons. When they come back on they miss the first half a second of audio and make a small pop. This means that if I'm trying to do questions on duolingo it'll always skip the first part of the voice, so I'll have to listen twice. I fixed this on my PC by constantly playing very quiet white noise in the background, but that's a pretty insane thing to have to do

Awesome!
This is one of the best pieces of kit I have bought!I using these are a delight to remove almost all background noise around me and makes you feel like you locked in a little quiet bubble.I love these headphones! These are brilliant, well worth the expense. They're so comfortable you wouldn't know you were wearing them.If you use headphones a lot (like me) then I recommend treating yourself to a pair of these.Purely and simply, outstanding! The build quality is outstanding, the sound quality is superb and the noise cancelling is incredible.I use these headphones both to commute to/from work on the train, and whilst at work. For the first time ever, I was also able to comfortably enjoy a film on the train, no engine sounds coming through, yet could hear sufficiently through them when I was being talked to.If you're on the fence, go for it. Your music, and ears, deserve it!

An excellent headset - great sound, build-quality and great comfort!
I have been an owner of Cowin headphones since 2017 so the SE7s have been on my radar for since their launch. The E7s I have owned were great for daily use, sturdy and strong and produced good sound. The SE7s develop on the E7s and seem to have improved most, if not all, aspects from the E7s.The design and build of the headset is incredible good, Straight out of the box, they feel solid and strong and well-built, with no sign of flimsiness or weak spots. There’s a good weight to them too. I was worried that they might be a bit big on my head but they fit snugly and feel incredibly comfortable on the head and wearing for medium-long sessions. Though I am wearing them on the tightest setting and its spot on, compared to a few clicks on the E7s. The ear cup material looks a bit creased and loose upon opening the carry case but on wearing them they are really comfortable and quickly conform to the contours of your head and are super comfortable overall so no worries there. Really terrific build for durability and comfort, and the buttons on the headset are easy to get used to by feel. The sound is, overall, excellent. It’s much improved on the E7s giving off a richer sound quality and greater depth at all ranges. Having tested the headset with music from across the spectrum and including audio books, this is really a quality sounding headset. Your ears are in for a treat. The noise cancelling is very good too, though it does kick the bass to the back a bit which is just a symptom of the tech, not the SE7s. However, the overall volume, sound quality, and ability of the headsets to generally not allow external noise in means you might not have to use the noise cancelling function apart from in the most noisy environments. Otherwise, and particularly if like your music on the loud side generally - which I do, then the headsets natural build, setup and sound will be enough. The microphone is greatly improved on the E7s. It’s clear and picks up everything I say on phone calls and so on. I’m really pleased with this as this was perhaps the weakest part of the E7s in my experience, when my partner tried to talk to me on my phone (then through the headset) on my walk home.It seems that Cowin has really improved on the E7s and taken into consideration all the feedback they received on their previous headsets. Overall, it’s worked excellently and has produced a high-quality headset in the SE7. It seems like a very affordable option compared to the traditional big boys, and one that still produces high quality sound and a quality product. I would happily recommend the SE7s to friends, family and those looking through reviews.(As a last point I also have experience of Cowin’s warranty process after my previous headset (Cowin E7s) that my partner got me a while ago, broke after daily use of more than a year. After ensuring my item was registered and thus covered by the 18 month warranty that Cowin offer, the whole process of getting them replaced was incredibly smooth and hassle free. I spoke with Alan over a few emails and he was very polite and helpful and replaced my E7s (with an Amazon code to re-purchase a set) without any hassle or demands or having to send the broken set back. Thank you Alan!)
