Widespread failures
I'm a professional Gaffer. These lights are great out of the box, light weight, bright, decent color. However both of my 6X Astras have failed, twice during shoots. they flicker and buzz due to a sub par control/dimmer board. The Grip Rental houses in my city have all had the same problem. Litepanels dropped the ball on the QC for this product.

Great light when they work, but failure rate is too high
The Astras are great when you first get them, but they completely fail for no reason after mild, ordinary use. Mine have been stored in a pelican case and taken care of extremely well, but they continue to have issues. One flickers really bad, and another has completely crapped out. Gaffer friends here in NC have the same issues. The issue really needs to be addressed and repaired under a recall.
