I bought books 6 thru 10 so my 7yr old granddaughter can continue reading the series when she finishes #5, then I'll send her more. I honestly don't know too much about these book, but my daughter says the stories are funny and age appropriate, so okay by me,

Grandson loves this series!

My 8 year old has loved these books since he turned 6 and we all look forward to each new release in the series! They’re funny and clever and well written and illustrated.This series is also great to get a reluctant reader started- not super simple but still easy to read, awesome pictures and definite little boy humor. My 6yo wasn’t super excited to sit and read chapter books but I truly believe these books opened his eyes to how fun reading longer books could be. Now, because of that, at 8 he reads constantly and can jet through one of these books in about 15 minutes but we enjoy them just as much as ever!

My 6.5 year old son LOVES the Bad Guy books which has sparked a love of books for him. The only issue I have with these books is saying “unkind” words like dumb, stupid, sucks, etc but it was a great opportunity to teach him that he is going to hear unkind words like this all the time and it’s all how he reacts. We need to teach our children how to react in situations instead of running to tell a parent/teacher a book says stupid. Teaching them young will hopefully help as they get older. When I was young, they were BAD words and I would get in trouble if I said them but I didn’t understand why they were bad words. As I got older, I was more tempted to use those words because they were outlawed. Kids ask a million questions because they WANT to learn and it’s up to us adults to teach them why the world is the way it is without 100% sugarcoating it.

My son has taken to reading and I am encouraging him as much as I can. These books are very funny. Us parents even laugh! Not too much reading involved but enough to get the revving for more. Naughty but in a nice way. Nothing mean or graphic. He has moved on to the Captain Underpants and Dogman books, but I have the new one of this series on order for one it comes out. I know my son will be super happy when he sees number 11 on his bed. Only in B&W. Highly recommended.

My 8 year old grandson loves these books and I highly recommend them. I buy the new ones as soon as they are available. As soon as he had a new one in his hands, he starts reading it - even on Christmas with more presents to be opened. I just pre-ordered no. 9. My only complaint is that a new book (no.10) will be available Dec 26th (same thing last year). I don't understand why the author doesn't release a new book a week before Christmas (great gift) instead of the day after Christmas. My grandson started reading these books a year ago or was it two years ago? Anyway, he is almost 9 now and he still enjoys them. When this grandson is too old for this series I will continue buying them for his younger brother. I hope the author writes many more.

Very funny. The story is very good for a boy of 7-8 years old. Easy to read together and the characters are very funny.
