First try to view tutorials online about mold types ,sizes and comparisons. Second you should ask yourself what are you trying to accomplish? Is it a small project, hobby or a business goal. With the in mind your budget should help with what you need. For example there is a preference between silicon molds and metal molds based on budget and cleaning of each mold. For me both are good for a business project and based on my budget I can afford both.
