Holland Grill The Liberty Grill Steel Cart with Wheels - LP

I am extremely pleased with my new Holland Grill. It has performed at or above all my expectations. I recently grilled 44 hamburgers and 20 hot dogs at a party at my house, I could not be happier with how the grilling turned out. The grill took a few hours to assemble but was well worth the time. I have watched a few of Hollands cooking videos and I'm looking forward to cooking many things in the days to come. The grill arrived ahead of schedule in perfect condition. I am so glad that I made this purchase. I purchased a thermometer and installed it into the lid. I also use a meat thermometer with a cordless monitor which makes cooking effortless. I highly recommend Holland grills.

My Holland grill is now 23 years old!! This was the best money ever spent on a gas grill. Yes, I agree that it is a slow cooking grill. That is another thing that I like about it. Food tastes so much better on a Holland Grill! I use this grill 4-5 days a week, all year long! If this can last 23 years after that much cooking...I'm buying another one!!! Thank you Holland Grill!!!!!

I'll admit its been a long time since I've owned this grill, but it left a bad enough taste in my mouth to remember this years later. I want to say I paid about $600 for the thing, but it was dead within a couple of years. Sure, they give you a lifetime warranty on the grill plates and other parts, but those parts are not even exposed to the weather. When I bought it, I inquired about a grill cover, but the lady selling it to me said I'd never need one, as she had hers out all year round without a cover and never had an issue with rust. Well, let me tell you folks, the thing rusted in EVERY CONCEIVABLE way and there was nothing I could do to stop it! I honestly don't believe that even if I HAD covered it all the time that it would not have rusted out THOROUGHLY... it was horrible. For what I paid for the thing, I would have expected it to last (at least) 10 years or so, but I remember only getting about 4 or 5 out of it, before it fell completely apart. It must have been made of the cheapest possible metal there could ever be.In contrast, I've owned one of those round Weber grills for the better part of 10 years, never covered it, and the thing held together like a champ. Its still outside. I want to say I paid less than $100 for that thing too!Sometimes, the reputation of a product is never quite reported, because people don't have the time or forget to report back on things. Not with me though, the more I spend on something, the more I want to help prevent someone else from making the same mistake, once I find out its a dud.

My first Holland grill lasted 13 years. While it's still functional, the corners of the splash-pan are succumbing, the igniter is dead, and the plenum isn't distributing flame evenly - so it was time. I will order replacements for these components now, shelve them, this grill will probably go 25 years.The secret to Holland grills is the splash pan - the juices sizzle back up to whatever is cooking adding more flavor. It will not flame up - juicy meat like chicken and bacon do not require constant monitoring to make sure the meat is on fire. A BLT with bacon cooked on this grill is life-changing!

I have had this grill for about one year now. I can say without a doubt it is one of the worst grillz I have ever used. While it is true that this grill will not burn anything you put on it that is only because it takes 25 minutes to cook something as simple as a thin hamburger. The heat distribution is very obviously unbalanced and heats one to two areas of the grill much more thoroughly than the rest.

This is a slow cooker that does what is advertised. No flare ups and no burnt meat. Don't buy if you expect to cook in a jiffy. Do buy if you love juicy meats and not having to watch the grill all the time. I'd give it 4.5 stars easily IF they would make the lighting window more visible and easy to,see in sunny conditions. And, more importantly, make turning on/off the propane tank easier without risking getting burned or greasy. Well built but c'mon Holland you've had years to improve some important details and haven't. I've cooked with mine for a year now and other than the longer warm up and burning more propane than my old Vermont Castings, I can attest the food is better with Holland

The grill showed up on time and was exactly what I was expecting. There are a lot of nuts/ bolts/ parts, so plan on spending a few hours putting it together. There were no missing parts and more importantly, everything went together smoothly. I have had the Companion grill for a long time, so I knew what to expect from the grilling aspect. So far, it's been a great grill.

ALWAYS love our Holland Grills! Had our last one for 18 years. These babies last so long if you take care of them. They are so versatile and well worth the investment. We have bbq'd, smoked, steamed, baked, everything in this grill and nothing ever burns because of the indirect flame. LOVE IT!!!
