Very sharp blades!I bought this SpiralMaster because i wanted to make a healthy alternative to the normal spaghetti. Boy, does this thing really work! I've make a few different dishes so far and plan to keep using it until it goes dull, which doesn't look like any time soon!On thing I don't necessarily like about it are the "guards" for you hands. It kind of seems like they're in the way. I would prefer there be a solid casing around it rather than two metal bands.

The device is well made and very sharp, it does cut most vegetables. Unfortunately it does not Julienne the entire vegetable, there is always part a left (about an inch and a half of vegetable that stays in the device) and there is no way to turn that last portion to get it shredded. It works best with carrots, but forget other vegetables that are not long as a carrot. I tried other vegetables pre shaping them as a long cylinder so that it would fit the cutter, it worked in an apple but again half of apple was wasted.The other problem is cleaning, the device is hard to clean since small vegetable particles get stuck in the blades, I spend a long time cleaning it with a toothpick since the internal parts are sharp and hard to reach with a sponge or any other washing tool. I would have returned it to Amazon if the lines at the Post Office were shorter. My time is priceless. My advice, stay away from this device.

So easy to use and makes your salads look amazing! Great for entertaining and everyday use. Sturdy and easy to use. Has two different blades to use for different widths. Difficult to clean without knicks/cuts.

I really like this SpiralMastor. So far I have found it perfect for ribboning carrots and zucchini. It is very light weight and easy to use also, I haven't had any problems cleaning it. I just grab my spray hose and spray the water directly on the slots. That has worked fine for me.I can't bite into a full carrot so I usually don't get to eat them but having the SpiralMastor has made it easy to enjoy carrots again. Thank you.

The first time I used this SpiralMaster my carrots did not turn out very well. Now that I have used it a couple times on different veggies it is getting easier to figure out and veggie noodles are turning out. It is a little harder to clean than expected. Has two different sized blades, one on each end. All in all, now that I have some experience with it, it is a good product.This product was received for the purpose of inspection and unbiased review.
