Timbuk2 Tripper Duffel

I have been a user of Timbuk2 messenger bags for years. I have also purchased backpacks and purses for my children, and every bag has held up well as well as being very useful. This is the first bag where I am giving it less than 5 stars. I like the bag very much, but I do not love it. The carry strap is narrow and tends to slide, and the bag pad does not attach well causing it to rotate and slide around. I find myself adjusting the position of the strap more than I should when I first pick it up. The pace makes it the perfect gym bag, and the padded bottom pocket is perfect for my iPad which I bring to the gym. I would give this bag 5 stars if the shoulder strap worked better

This is a great bag for short trips. It looks good, is built tough, has different compartments to properly separate your items and has two handles and an over-the-shoulder strap. I used it on a recent weekend trip and I was able to fit everything I I needed with room to spare. It is definitely not for people who don't know how to pack light.Will update this review to report on wear and tear over time.

For one night travel. Even fits in the overhead of smaller planes. Could use more exterior pockets, but now I'm nitpicking.

This bag is very stylish and well-made.

Product was not what I antipated from Timbuk2. Product was cheaply made for the price that was paid. I returned the product without using. I have had other Timbuk2 products that I have been fantastic.

Timbuk2 the tripper duffel bag is great. its construction is very durable and thick. I only have been using it for past 2-3 weeks and it seems like that it will last longer than other duffel bag that I have used in the past. the material seems to be thicker than my last Nike duffel bag. and also it would resist some water and stains easily as I am looking at it. the strap and shoulder pad is constructed very well and thoughtful. Pad has nice cushion for support and strap seems to be think and strong. The handle also looks very durable and comfortable for grabbing. I really like this bag except the size is way smaller than I expected. It is bit crowded to be every day gym going with pair of shoes and clothes and towel in it. I wish the bag was little bigger than it was. The design is good and the color is bit darker than I anticipated.. Perhaps, different color scheme might be better option. Otherwise, it is well made and well constructed for daily use. I highly recommend it and if there is bigger size, that will be perfect for my gym and daily use.

This bag has been perfect for my commute to work (I use this as my gym bag that I bring with me to the office daily). I have also used this as a soccer bag and the shoe pocket on the base of the bag is perfect to store your shoes without getting the rest of the items in your bag dirty. This is an all-around great bag that I see myself getting a LOT of use out of.

I absolutely LOVE this bag. It is great for the gym or a weekend getaway. It's super lightweight but big enough to hold all the essentials. The material is easy to clean and the bag just looks great! I am super happy with this bag and would totally buy it again.

I have a TBK2 backpack and really like it, but this appears a bit cheap and only one small side pocket with zipper.

much smaller than expected

LCCなどの飛行機搭乗時の機内持ち込み用として購入し、その目的にはジャストなサイズ。前の座席の下などに置いて使いたい。底の荷室の下側にはパッドが入っているので、薄型15.4インチのノートパソコンが入りました。勿論パソコンを入れた場合は、メインの荷室には重い物は入れられません。デザイン的には可もなく不可もなくという感じで、メーカーロゴがないと有名メーカー製とは誰も思わないでしょう。その意味では人気がなさそうですぐ廃盤になりそうな気がします。ファスナーはYKK製。

着替え持参の一泊仕事の通勤鞄として購入。余り安価な物は通勤途中で壊れても困りますし、絶対に背負わない主義なので、ツーウエイじゃ無いものを探した結果、これにたどり着きました。ハッキリ言って、遣い勝手が悪いです。外ポケットの大きさが中途半端で、新書版は入りません。ファスナー内には紙マスクがギリギリ入る大きさです。内側には小物入れポケットは全く無いので、キーなどを入れる場所に困ります。極めつけはショルダーベルトです。幅が細く柔らかいので、捩れて安定感が有りません。肩パットも付いていますが、パットとしては薄くて細いのてベルト以上に安定感が有りません。耐久性は分かりませんが、使い勝手だけで判断すれば、数千円鞄のレベルですね。
