From the Brookly Stone series by Taylors's Eye Witness comes this five-piece knife block with an attractive price/performance ratio. The hollow ground blades are equipped with an anti-bacterial non-stick coating. The curved soft-grip plastic handle adapted to the contours of the hand and a chrome-plated toggle help to prevent slipping into the blade. The set includes a peel, utility knife, carving, bread and chef's knife, as well as an attractive grey lacquered wooden knife block. Suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher, hand wash recommended.

Were fabulous until one fell apart
EDIT: 3 stars now. Have used these knives for 10 months and the paring knife has fallen apart. Very disappointed. Have never put these in a dishwasher. The rest of the knives are fine so not sure why this has happened. Will contact Taylors for further advice.Have used really good Sabatier knives for a number of years but they're quite old now so needed replacing. These are beautifully presented and match perfectly with our kitchen. The knives are very light but well balanced, are razor sharp and the handles are very soft to the touch. As per instructions best not to put them through a dishwasher. We use microfibre tea towels and dry them straight away to prevent watermarks. Very pleased with them so far but oviously can't comment on their longevity. Would highly recommend. Have also purchased the serrated paring knife which is excellent.

Beautiful feel and stylish
Love these knives. Look great and feel nice. Had similar before and used them in the dishwasher, ruined them within a few weeks, so DO NOT PUT THEM IN! It does say this in the description but just a word of warning. 😉

Kitchen Knives bought in Sheffield from a Sheffield maker!!?? A mistake?
My daughter loves these after a few weeks - a lot better than the set she had, seem to stay sharp and hopefully she can sharpen them without my help8th August 2020 and one of the knife blades has broken off and spoilt the illusion of quality! How do I get a refund?

Terrible - do not buy
Very disappointed after only a few months and a few washes in a dishwasher and the colour on the handles of the knives is cracking and peeling away. Photo included. I cannot see anywhere on how to contact the sellers as I would be asking for a replacement or my money back. Very very disappointed.
