I didn't purchase the lamps right away because of some of the negative reviews. I was worried about the lamp being delivered damaged and having to deal with a return. I must have added them to my cart three times before finally purchasing. Once I received them, I was very impressed with how well they were packaged. The lamps were easy to install and look fantastic, better than I expected (I had a pretty good feeling from the beginning). Before purchasing, I hadn't realized there was a foot switch instead of having to turn a switch with your hand. The lamps are very easy to turn on and off with a tape of my toe. The metal shade puts off the perfect amount of light when watching tv. I can't say enough positives and didn't submit my review right away to make sure I would remain 100% satisfied. It's now been three weeks and I'm just as happy now as I was the day we assembled the lamps. Hopefully my pictures do it justice. We get so many compliments and they fit our western decor perfectly.

The lamp is nice, when lit, it projects nice design all over the room, very modern and beautiful. However, it is not sturdy at all, I had to put it on the carpet and it kept tilting over. I ordered a sand bag to keep it from falling down. The base is much smaller and not proportionally designed to keep it sturdy. Keeping it because the lamp is beautiful actually.

This is a beautiful floor lamp but has a major design failure. The support for the outside lampshade are held with very poor wields that cannot survive transport. As such, I ordered one and two of the three support beams were broken. Amazon replaced it with another, and upon arrival, this one too had broken support beams for the lampshades. Also, the lampshade was badly bent out of shape out of the box. Use solid screws to keep the outer black lampshade attached to the main body.Bad structural design ruins an otherwise good looking lampshade. Buyer beware.

We're redecorating our living room and searched everywhere for the right lamps. Copper is my metal and these are perfect! The metal shades throw the best shadows across the room and ceiling. We will be ordering another to complete the room. I do wish there was another size lamps between the floor lamp and the table lamp. The table lamp makes me feel like it's more for a bedroom than the living room so we'll be buying another floor lamp. It really is a beautiful lamp.

I'd searched for over a year for the right lamp for this spot. I wanted something that would not only offer reading light, but help spotlight a sculpture I had hanging in this (previously) dark corner of my living room. I was also searching for a copper lamp, or one with copper accents. This lamp is just right. And an added bonus - the price on Amazon was over $50 cheaper than the other site that I normally would have ordered from. So happy with this purchase!

Just like a few others stated, the lampshade arrived broken. The welds holding the 2 shades together were broken. No way to repair it.
