This is the 3rd one I've had of this design , they are easy to put on and off with the skirt much more secure than elastic corners and ties. It heats quickly, lovely on a cold night and the controls are easy to set. The only draw back is the life of the thing, lasting about a winter and a half.I put mine on in November and it comes off in March going on the next November and they have failed in January both times. Admittedly they replace without quibble if you have the receipt and it's still under guarantee but this is most unsatisfactory but, I'm afraid that seems to be par for the course with household electrical items none of which are manufacture in UK. I only stay with this design because it's exactly what I like.

We purchased our second single version at £69.95 (which is pretty expensive) it failed after 3 months. Purchased through Amazon. Contacted Manufacturers Customer Services and they said must be returned through Amazon and gave me a ref. no. Amazon did not recognise the ref no. and said I must return it to them before any refund would be made and I would have to order a new one. This process would cause considerable inconvenience and cost with very little empathy or concern. I ended up speaking with an Amazon Customer Service operative in Cape Town who didn't know how to handle so passed me on to a Supervisor in India! After much insistence on my part they agreed to credit my card and suggested I re order. Very messy and time consuming process. The manufacturer said they do not deal with guarantees within first year of purchase - messy and unsatisfactory. The product when it works is excellent!

This is a great product but has one major problem....... the electrical connection fits on the right-hand side, where my bed is against a wall in a very small room and connection on the left hand side would make it so much more convenient.

I had previously purchased a similar Dreamland heated double blanket with dual control and it has been excellent. Favourite feature is the elasticated skirt which holds the blanket solidly in place. I would say this newer version is not as warm on the settings 1 to 5 but the Instant heat setting is really warm and quick.

I'm too tight to pay the heating bill, so this is a perfect solution. Really good quality product.

It is essentially a fitted sheet so it does not move aroundSimple quite basic controls including timer featuresI have had the double for about 5 years. Fully reliable.Love it

Really pleased and it’s very comfy to sleep on. No lumps or bumps just sits under fitted sheet. The stretch skirt (like a fitted bottom sheet) keeps everything in place.Useful timer settings and very easy to use.Highly recommend.
