Broadleaf Arrowhead (Sagittaria latifolia), Seed Packet, True Native Seed

Seeds came and I was a little concerned about the other reviews saying they didn't germinate.Went online and watched videos and read up on habitat. They're a native plant here in Washington state so I scooped up the heavy clay soil that my whole yard is comprised of and put it in a clay pot because it allows for moisture to pass through the material and submerged about six inches into my pond.The recommendation is for broadcasting the seeds because sunlight is essential for germination and I saw this occurring online but I did push some seeds in and some on top.That was about 5 days ago.Here you can just barely see a small seed has sprouted! We had a few days of upper 70s when the seeds were planted but this weekend was rainy and 50s cool with periods of sunshine.I can't tell if the other seeds are sprouting. But one out of the 15 or so I tried is definitely coming up. So that's why I only give the 4 stars. If I find in a few more days that more are sprouting I will definitely change my rating to 5! The seeds do sprout but I think you have to create just the right conditions.
