Brandit Britannia Jacket Between-Seasons Jacket Olive

This was the replacement for the 'Large' one I ordered previously - as I mentioned in the other review - being French-made, it was too tight across my chest and shoulders.The Extra-Large is, as expected, very long in the arms, but now larger enough for me to both breathe AND moved my arms at the same time.It looks and feels okay.However....When looking for, and finding, the interior pocket, the quality of the stitching revealed itself.I made to open the pocket, by pulling upon the Velcro section on the upper-edge, and one side of the pocket simply pulled away from the jacket's lining - the Velcro remaining resolutely connected.I can't be bothered to return yet another jacket, so I shall simply carry out the required repairs myself - it will hold together then.Why the hip-pocket flaps are ironed in such a way to make it looked 'rugged and lived-in' is, for an ex-military chap, quite beyond comprehension, so they'll be properly ironed at the first opportunity.Who ever heard of such a thing? It's as non-sensical as buying jeans with holes already in them, or walking around with your underpants on display, telling the world your arse is for sale to the highest bidder, for pity's sake!

Nice jacket, well made and will definitely improve with age (don't we all?!)Being French-made, it's very small across the chest and shoulders (it's the same with French shirts; men there aren't the same shape as us Brits!)To get this jacket to fit you if you have shoulders broader than your hips (which you will if you're not a Frenchman) go for a size larger than normal.With every other manufacturers' jackets, I'm a 'Large', but this needs to be an 'Extra Large' - the only problem will be (when it arrives) is the sleeves will be massively loooooooong. Not really a problem, though.

Unfortunately the jacket I received didn't have a fur lining, as in the photograph.however the price was the same & the same jacket is still been advertised on your web site, which to me is very misleading !!!!

Awesome jacket but all things say to choose a larger size. Don't choose a larger size, if you're a medium, choose medium.I struggle with having broad shoulders and a small waste but also with having to get larger tops, the arms are longer too.Only my issue, the jacket itself, is very well made and is comfy when I have worn it.

The jacket was advertised having a white fleece lining but on arrival it had no lining at all so it became an entirely different jacket to the one in the photo.

There is a problem with the sellers sizing system. I had to return the large size ordered,which should have fit me perfectly,but didn't. However the re ordered XL extra large fitted perfectly.

A casual jacket for the odd summer ride on my motorbike out for qa bacon roll and a cup of coffee but still smart enough to where casually out n an evening. All good
