It's a book. Yes a real book.
It's a hard back service manual. What more needs to be said. It's got most of the technical stuff a shade tree mechanic needs plus pictures.

If you have this bike then buy this manual.
I am very, very grateful to Haynes for this manual...I would be totally lost without it. There is definitely room for improvement but it is pretty much the only choice for a Gen 2 Busa repair manual since Clymer does not make one. You could also purchase an online downloadable manual but who knows what you'll get. Mine is hardcover which is nice though there is some advantage to having the manual on your computer and printing just the pages you need. Manual will inevitably get greasy and dirty...oh well. Some of the pictures are not very clear and it would be useful to have more schematic diagrams. I find myself printing part diagrams from retail part websites sometimes to get a clear picture. Torque recommendations are listed at the beginning of each chapter in Nm (not ft/lbs) and not within the text of the instructions. It would be useful for them to be listed in both places and, personally, I prefer them listed in ft/lbs, since that is the easiest way for me to dial in to my torque wrench. I use a torque converter app on my iphone for the conversion.Instructions are precise and excellent but must be read very carefully. Easy to screw things up if you do not read carefully and consciously. For example, the instructions for removing fairings are very good and precise but must be read carefully to do it right and good pictures for that procedure are sorely lacking. A nice thing about this manual is that they have a rating scale. 1 wrench is easiest, 5 is most difficulty. All the procedures are rated on this scale from 1-5 wrenches in difficulty. I would not touch a 5 wrench procedure though I am surprised that some of the procedures I've done, or am thinking about doing, get 4 wrenches like replacing brake and clutch hoses. There's more than 1 way to do some things, like flushing the cooling system. I found myself using a combination of the manual and other motorcycle maintenance books and youtube videos to figure out the best way. I do not like the idea of flushing the cooling system with tap water and a hose as the manual recommends, I only use distilled water. I also used a vinegar/distilled water solution for initial flush which was not an idea I got from the manual. If you have this bike then buy this manual.

英文なので私は一切読めません。ただ眺めている隼のマニアックな写真集と割り切り隼を所有している喜びを勝手に感じる商品なので欲しい方はマイノリティですね。
