Would not recommend products of this seller
Item was defective. Cable tech attempted to install, said it was defective. A few months later, another cable company tech attempted and said the same. Was never able to use the item. Seller would not take it back. Would not recommend products of this seller.

Mediacom
After much trying the modem would not work the phone for Mediacom service. It did work the internet though, so if you don't need phone service then it is a good buy since Mediacom charges $12 a month to rent.

Better than expected.
The router is like new, and it came with all the necessary cables. FYI-ID/Password is admin/password. It arrived faster than expected. It was a good purchase. YouTube was helpful in the setup.

I returned the item because the signal output was very poor.
I returned this item and I got a refund of $50 instead of $80 + is highly ridiculous because it was supposed to be money back guarantee.I returned the item because the signal output was very poor.

Works fine for Internet, sucks for LAN
We got this modem/gateway through Spectrum with our Internet serviceFor Internet access alone, it works just fine, Wi-Fi works without issues and I assume the wired Ethernet connections work fine too (haven’t used them yet), and we don’t have VoIP service so I’m not sure how well the ATA/EMTA portion of it worksIf, and only if, you plan to use this modem solely for Internet access, you should be fine, if you plan to share data over the LAN (network printers, sharing data over the network between computers, etc.), look for a different modem/gateway or get ready to power cycle it oftenWhen we set up our Wi-Fi printer on this modem/gateway, all of our devices said it couldn’t find the printer, I checked the printer itself and it said it was connected to the network and working fine, no connection issues, still no devices on the network could see itI moved the printer closer to the modem/gateway (thinking maybe the signal just wasn’t strong enough), devices still couldn’t find the printerOn a whim, I power cycled the modem/gateway, would you believe it? It started working, devices found the printer and printed fineSo, problem solved, right? It works now... Eh, not exactlySome time later, none of the devices could find the printer again, right back to square one, power cycle the modem/gateway and back in business, everything’s working againKeep in mind, the entire time, all devices can still connect to the Internet, they just can’t see each other without frequent power cyclingRecently we got a new Smart TV with Roku, the TV is connected to the modem/gateway and working fine, we can stream shows no issue, a feature of Roku is you can use your smartphone as a remote, just download the app and find your TV on your network...Oh, wait, the app can’t connect to the TV because of the same problem we were having with the printer, we have to power cycle the modem/gateway just for the app to work... REALLY?!You shouldn’t have to power cycle on a daily basis (or more) for basic LAN functionality, yet this modem/gateway requires just thatIn a world of remote apps, network printers, local file sharing and IoT devices (Smart Speakers, video doorbells, Wi-Fi weather centers, etc.), we rely on our LANs, this is completely unacceptable

Easy to set up
This wireless modem was easy to set up and works perfectly. Easy-to-follow written instructions were in the box. You will need the MAC Address which is printed on the back of the modem. You will also need the network name and password for connecting your WIFI Devices. These are printed on the bottom of the modem.
