Easy plug in play. Opened it, set it to repeater, hit the wps button on my modem and on it and full bars in my bedroom now. You do need to access the router from a laptop or desktop pc, it does not have access via a phone browser. All in all this is what we needed to get the kids tablets working across the house.

I work in IT with significant background in wireless. I wanted an extender for home. This was comparatively easy to set up. I was able to connect and it did 'extend' my range in the house. But it only really extends it about 30 feet. Pretty wimpy. I ended up spending a little more for one that does the job at near the quality of a commercial WAP.I have relegated this one to the kids game console for connecting to the ethernet port. That works just fine.

I bought this extender to use in the front of my house to boost WiFi signals to my wireless security cameras at the front door and driveway.My cameras previously had very low signal and were sometimes not recording correctly. After I placed the extender close to the side of the house closest to the cameras and had it setup to connect to my WiFi. I use the extender with repeater mode as I don't have cat5/6 run to that location otherwise i'd use the access point mode. For my security cameras they now show 4/5 signal strength and are much more stable and doesn't seem to drop connections as much.

cannot afford Google wifi so went some cheaper option. At first i purchased netgear wifi extender in walmart which does not work in the room at all. I found this because of the review posted. it works great in the house! I can finally enjoy my Netflix in my bedroom without going to living room!

Don't throw your old wireless routers away! I'm using my phones hotspot and this repeater, and its feeding into my old wireless router. This is great when your out on the road in your RV, and you want to be connected wirelessly and through an Ethernet cable. Just remember, you use this setup to stream Netflix or movies, you'll be throttled in a couple days.

I use this device as a repeater. Now all the rooms at the back of our home can have internet access. The device is simple to use. I have had the device for two weeks without any trouble.

Easy to setup!! Pretty much plug and play once connected wirelessly to the router!! I used it as a repeater for my wifi as to extend the range to the front part of my house!! It definitely boosted the signal because I get full bars on my wifi now in my front room where I only used to get 1 or 2 bars!! It works!!

I’ve tried setting this extender up and had zero success. I followed the instructions to the T but it didn’t allow me to connect to the internet. Don’t waste your time!
