Painful to wear
I bought this on the recommendation of an Ankle Surgeon, as I have Hypermobility Type Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, and have suffered 2 ankle sprains in the space of 2 years. Surgery isn't an option. I found this brace to be extremely uncomfortable and the metal support bar really digs into the ankle and the skin beneath it. I don't know how anyone can walk in this, let alone do any sort of activity. I think this is perhaps a better support for healthier individuals that do not have severe ankle stability. Wouldn't recommend.
