Slow writing speed for music; gets very hot very quickly
This memory stick is small, which I wanted for using in the USB port in my car stereo. I had been through two other flash drives that both were broken because they stick out too far from the car dash console, and get bumped by things like my purse which I put on the floor in front of it the console. This PNY flash drive is so small that only the black part and about 1/4" of the silver stick out, so there is minimal chance of it getting bumped, which has worked out well so far.I bought the 16GB because my previous sticks were 8GB and I barely had enough room for all of the music I wanted to put on. However, I have found that the writing speed is slowwww on this device. If I drag & drop more than one album to be written onto the drive at a time, the related windows open on my computer screen freeze and it takes probably 5 minutes for those two albums to catch up and for the windows to unfreeze. I will note that unrelated windows, such as an internet browser, do not freeze.Unfortunately, due to the freezing window issue, I cannot always tell when the albums have finished being copied to the device, because I have to walk away and do other things while this process is occurring. As I've been listening in the car, I've realized that some of the albums did not get copied in their entirety - some of them only have the first 5 or 6 songs, and are missing everything after that. So now I've had to take the stick back inside to the computer and go through it album by album to find the songs that are missing. When I pulled the stick out take it inside to do this album check, I had taken a 15 minute drive to pick up my daughter from school. The drive was so hot, I could not hold it in the palm of my hand! I had to hold it by the black plastic end just to carry it into the house. I've never had a USB drive get that hot in such a short amount of time.Once the songs that were missing were added, I've not had a problem. Other than when I add more than one new album, I have to take it much slower than I'm used to and double check that all the songs make it on.

Survived 3 Years Lost in My Yard
I had a couple of these on my key chain for a while, but I used a cheap key ring and they fell off, becoming lost about three years ago.Yesterday I found them in my yard, washed to the edge of my driveway by a heavy storm. The connectors were caked with mud and light rust had started forming. They were pretty chewed up, I'm guessing sucked through a few weed-eaters or lawn mowers.I scraped the mud out of the connectors, ran them under tap water, and let them dry for a day. Now, they *both still work*. A fantastic surprise after having other thumbdrives die just from living in my pocket.

Great Product
Very sturdy construction which is what I was looking for because I was tired of breaking all my plastic ones. The opening on the top makes it easy to put on a key ring (if you're ok with it being sideways). Super small, abou the size of a nickel, so don't lose it!

Great thumb drive! These Micro drives are very cool!
What I like best about the drive is the compactness of its size. I carry work ID and a wallet so I can put this where I need to without it taking up space. Larger thumb drives compete for space plus they are another thing adding to the clutter in my pockets. If you need to this drive comes with a very strong security tie to attach it to your keys or key chain. So by all means get this drive and do not worry about the size at all. I will never carry a larger thumb drive again, no need to.

VERY tiny.
I have not had any trouble with the function of the drive, it just is MUCH smaller than I had expected when I ordered it. It measures 3/4"l x 1/2"w x 1/8"d

Great little flash drive
Great little flash drive. Perfect for my car radio. Because of its size it does not protrude out from the dash. It holds 2500+ songs in multiple folders. I made a trip from Arkansas to California an did not listen to the same tune twice. I have several of these flash drives.

a storage device
This storage device can hold our pictures, but it is so small it is easily misplaced if not careful. The end loop is impossible to attach.
