If you need heated gloves you need to know what to expect
With a recent cold wave coming in these gloves come nicely in handy. A good pair of gloves depends on what you use them for. If your hands get cold it usually means air is getting in. These have a nice sealed shell and a bungee to stay secure. The heat can be felt in the palm with no heating in the fingers. This is annoying yet this isn't a huge problem as there is plenty of insulation and the heater can maintain heat adequately. On a budget you can't go wrong.

Get very HOT be careful they will burn your hands.
I didn't get to use these last winter but did this winter it was not good they got so hot it was burning my hand had to shut them off while shoveling snow. Next time I will start them then shut off before using outside.

Warm & Cozy!
I am the type that is always cold. So, these have really been great to have around. I'm excited to see how they will work in the super cold weather this year. I have already tested them out, and I will have to say that they are very bulky. But, even without the heating element, they are very toasty. I don't think the heating element will make it to your fingers, which is my only complaint about them. Overall, if you are cold natured like me, I would still recommend them and give them a shot!

Helped me warm my hands!
These gloves, while very bulky and sort of hard to wear, especially with the battery pack, have kept my hands warm during our cold mornings. The heating wires are placed somewhat precariously as I have a hard time gripping my steering wheel (I used them mostly when I drive) because they are placed right where I grip the wheel, I have sort of learned how to use them though.

Great concept, just missing heating element in fingers.
I had the opportunity to try out the ActionHeat's AA Battery gloves. Great idea to heated clothing. You simply insert (4) AA batteries into each included power pack and plug the power pack into the glove. You conceal the power packs inside the adjustable wrist gauntlet. To activate heat, simply turn the power switch to "on" and enjoy instant heating relief. Note that the gloves are comfortable, but the heating packs can feel large and bulky while wearing them.Unfortunately the heat is felt on top of your palms and not on your fingers. They do heat enough to make you feel more comfortable under cold conditions.

Kept back of hands warm but not fingers
My husband used these gloves for work. He works outside all day, every day in the elements. Part of his job requires him to stand still for over an hour at a time using a controller to operate equipment so he is not able to generate more body heat by being active and walking around. The hope was these gloves would keep his fingers warm while he was standing still using the controller. The first day he used them they worked great while he was walking around and was active. His hands were hot and fingers were warm. When he had to stand still and use the controller his fingers were cold. The back of his hands were warm where the coils are but his fingers were still cold. He said it felt the same on his fingertips as regular insulated gloves, so that was a bummer. His overall thought was if you will be active outside these would probably work well for you, but they were not what we were hoping for.
