4-BOLT 50MM UNIVERSAL EXTERNAL WASTEGATE An external wastegate regulates the maximum boost pressure within a turbocharged system to match the power required for a given level of boost. It does so by bypassing a portion of exhaust flow into the exhaust system, thus reducing the power driving the turbine. The advantage of an external wastegate is that the bypassed exhaust is diverted further downstream of the turbine, which tends to improve the turbine’s performance. Moreover, it allows a smaller A/R turbine housing, reducing the spool time needed by the turbo to produce boost.

This did not fit on to the manifold that I ordered from you. And it said it was ment for it bolts did not mine up and one was smaller than others

So far so good. Came with all necessary hardware. I swapped out the spring for a 4PSI one so I don’t lean out my stock 2JZGE. Diaphragm was in good shape and valve Maneuvers smoothly. I’d definitely buy again. Will update review once mounted in the car.Edit: Wastegate has been mounted on and everything works fine. As mentioned before, I’m running a 4PSI spring and it opens up as it should. I’m running a dump, and boy is it loud 😂 my only thing is when the WG is opening you get a slight break up under moderate partial throttle, but as long as you fall back on the happy pedal or go WOT it does what it needs to.

If u like over boost then this is for u
This stuck closed causing over boost. Turns out the spring was caught on some burr. The spring became bent. Should’ve buy a Tial wastage.
