Gretsch Limited Edition G2420T P90 Streamliner 6-String Hollow Body Electric Guitar (Demo)

All is good, but the guitar had intermittent wiring problems. The bridge pickup would cut in and out, I had to return it. The guitar is awesome (I bought another one). I bought this to replace an Ibenez that costs twice as much and is the coolest looking Jazz guitar ever, but it’s hard to play. This Gretsch is great sounding and versatile. It’s not annoying when not plugged in,like some.I hoped to get the pictured Black P90 but got white. This guitar tunes well and is well made. The delivery was at lightning speed. Return service was hassle and expence free. I boosts my confidence to buy a guitar Amazon again. I can’t know but if the selling company knew there was a wiring issue, they lost probably lost money on the deal. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt, being greatful for they expidient service.

For 550 bucks, if you’re expecting the “gretsch” tone, you will be sorry. If you’re Ann Eddie Cochran fan like me and want that warm P90 sound, it’s for that. I’ve owned a standard streamlined before but sold it quickly, but I missed the big beefy neck. Ordered a TV Jones for the bridge and now I have the sound I want. Summed up, P90 good, whatever bridge pickup, awful. The build is excellent for a foreign guitar and the frets were level, just plan to spend 140 bucks more to get the sound you’re probably looking for.
