I work with children and have seen many of the babies wearing these to help with teething. I have noticed myself that the babies wearing these never seem to suffer with any of their teeth in any way, their teeth just seem to come through with no pain or discomfort, they don't dribble and they aren't snotty and the don't feel the need to chew everything that passes in front of them.However the ones who don't wear this type of product are constantly dribbling and snotty and crying due to discomfort from their teeth and will literally chew everything in sight.So in my eyes I have seen first hand the difference between many babies who have used this product and the ones who don't and I have cared for a lot of babies to have been able to see the difference when they use this product.Having noticed this with the babies I work with I wondered if it would help with adults. I tend to suffer a lot of headaches and suffer from insomnia. I also have swelling in my back and a lot of pain due to an ongoing shoulder injury from a car accident two years ago. I always seem to suffer a lot during the time of the month as well.I researched Amber beads and found that they have a natural anti-inflammatory which is why it helps with teething. I also read that it is sometimes used by adults to help with all of the above issues. Although I was still a little sceptical as to why a beaded anklet would make any difference to the various aches and pains I experience on a daily basis, I decided that it was worth a try if it was to help with the problems I was experiencing, especially given that it is a definately more natural form of pain relief instead of having to take a variety of different drugs to help with the issue.I contacted the seller Nickolas Jewellery and asked if it would be possible for an anklet to be made in a 22cm size for me. They were extremely helpful and so accommodating that they managed to make me one within a few days and create a listing for it. I was so impressed by the helpfulness and politeness from this seller and wished all Amazon sellers were like this. This seller is an absolute credit to themselves and Amazon and I am looking forward to purchasing from them again.I really like the colour of these beads and also the variety in shape, I have found from my research that the imperfections in the shapes of the beads will make them more effective than beads which are perfectly round or all the same shape. I also decided that, as I am technically not allowed to wear jewellery to work, I would buy a bigger size so that I could wear it on my ankle under my sock so that is cannot be seen.This product works best when placed directly next to the skin as it works in conjunction with the warmth of the skin temperature so wearing it around the neck, wrist or ankle are the ideal places.I measured my ankle and then added an extra 1cm which gave me a measurement of 22cm.When it arrived I did the salt test which is one part salt and two parts water. If it is real it floats, if it is fake it sinks. My product floated during this test so it is real Amber.This item fits on my ankle perfectly, it is very comfortable and is not too tight, in fact I cannot even feel it once it's on. It fastens using a screw in beads which appear to be very sturdy.The string is knotted after each bead so if it did break the beads wouldn't end up scattering everywhere. I think it is unlikely to break if it is cared for properly as it seems to be very well made and strong. The beads are all different sizes and there is no uniformity between them. There are a lot of imperfections in the beads which is good because the more imperfections there are the better the product will work.I have only had this anklet for about 24 hours but already I can see that it is helping.My shoulder isn't hurting nowhere near as much as it usually does. Also as it is the time of the month, I have noticed that I am in nowhere near as much discomfort as I usually am. I also had the best nights sleep last night than I have had in several years.I have seen this product work on many babies and they don't understand that they are wearing it to try and benefit them and I have now seen the effects for myself after only a days wear. I have literally tried everything to be able to sleep more than three hours a night, even taking very strong sleeping tablets that made me throw up.Last night I slept for 5 hours for the first time in as long as I can remember. As for my shoulder, normally I have to take very strong painkillers (tramadol) as soon as I wake up before I can even sit up, never mind get out of bed. Today I was actually able to sit up and have a drink before I had taken anything. Ok, I was still in a bit of pain, but it was much more manageable than it usually is.All in all I like this product and have seen no problems with it so far. I am suprised that I have already seen some benefits from it, especially as I was sceptical about how it would work, especially on an adult.I would definately recommend this product and I am so pleased that there was big enough sizes available that I coul purchase a product to wear on my ankle which means I can wear it all of the time, even at work.If you dont believe the benefits of Amber then I would recommend you do some research online. As I found myself, there are loads of sites that explain how this product works and what to look for. Try it!! I'm sure you won't regret it and it's so much better, there are no side effects and it's more natural than taking loads of drugs with various side effects.I am really impressed with this product and absolutely love the colour of it. I intend to wear it constantly now, especially as I have already seen the benefits of this product. Purchased 3 of these bracelets, one for my baby boy, one for myself and one for my mum.I was recommended to get one for my little boys teething pains and since wearing it he definitely hasn't been in pain as often as he was. My mum says it has helped with her hip pain, when she left it off she says the aches returned. Since wearing my own I can't say I've noticed anything different but I didn't really have many problems to begin with.

I really like this bracelet. makes me feel good. I took the 17 mm option as i have thin arms, and it worked well, but someone else need to help me to lock it. I do think it feels like plastic though. Is this a typical characteristic of amber?

Much, much smaller beads than I imagined. Suggest showing a model wearing necklace so that potential purchasers get a better idea of size.

I enjoy wearing this necklace, it is very comfortable to wear.
