Style Name:Wired  |  Colour Name:black Product Description Introducing the KitSound Audio SportsBand Keeping the sweat out of your eyes and the wind out of your ears, the Audio SportsBand combines moisture-wicking material and carefully engineered headphone drivers to make exercising to music much easier. Listen to Your Music Whilst Exercising The debut album from the group of the same name, 'Sweat Band' was the first official release on Godfather of funk George Clinton's Uncle Jam Records label back in 1980. Three decades later, we bring you the KS Audio SportsBand. Lightweight, sweat-proof and water-resistant, it's made from a moisture-wicking material meaning it's a must for fitness enthusiasts, especially considering the drivers can be removed for washing. Great Sound As with all KS products, you can expect to hear great sound from the Audio SportsBand. But not only that; the open driver allows the volume to be set to a level where you can still be aware of outside noise, making it especially useful for female runners out on their own. Please don't waste your money the quality is awful! KitSound Sweat-Proof Audio Fitness and Sports Band with Built-In Headphones
The idea is great but the item is far from it. To start with it is not designed for any kind of warmth and is not the best quality material, in my opinion. The speakers are spread unevenly and kept moving around and i kept having to reposition. The sound quality is awful!! I am not one who likes too much bass but there is no definition between high pitch and low tones and therefore after about 10mins it all sounds really tinny and ended up giving me a headache. Also if you have the music too loud it distorts and sounds even worse, this is problimatic because they have no noise cancellation properties what so ever; therefore you have to have the music relatively loud to hear it above traffic noise and this causes it to distort....ergo a huge problem!!After about an hour it feels uncomfortably tight and if you have had any sort of perspiration going on you will find it has also slipped down your forehead causing the most annoying sensation and again causing a headache.Overall I like the idea but it has a long long way before I would ever consider purchasing an item like this again. I will stick to regular headphones and my fleece headband, purchased for £3, to keep me going for now!Returned for a full refund after one trial use!

Fantastic concept. Poor manufacturing.
Having just wrapped up my second return to Amazon for this product, I'm sad to give this two stars. The concept and design of the product are brilliant and I have very happily been running with these as well as occasionally wearing them in bed to listen to an audiobook or lecture. The manufacturing lets the product down, though. The stitching at the back has been weak on both of the products I've had. After only a few uses and one wash (as per label instructions) the stitching where the headphones go in/cable comes out started to come away. I don't have an unusually large head (the band fits just perfectly), and was very careful when removing/replacing the headphones before and after washing.Amazon have informed me that they do not replace products more than once as it's clearly defective, so I have been left with a refund and will have to try to find something similar that does not break so readily! Such a shame.Sorry, KitSound, the idea is fantastic, but I'd rather pay a bit more for a product designed AND manufactured in England instead of designed here and constructed on a cheap factory line in China.

Wired wrong!
I'm convinced that my set is wired wrong. On all the pics, the controls are on the right. On my set the controls are on the left with the washing instruction label at the front. I can't just wear it the other way round because I bought it to use with binaural beats, and (as far as I know) the left and right channels have to be on the correct ear. This means that the wider part of the band which is supposed to be at the back is actually at the front, where it is too wide and therefore shoves my upper eyelids down - a very weird and uncomfortable sensation! And it's not only the channels that are wired wrong. The quick press and press/hold combinations for the volume and track skipping are the opposite of what it says in the manual. For long enough, I just assumed that is was poor design and a misprint. I've only just checked the images that show the controls on the right, so I'm out of time to return , and I can't unpick the stitching to swap them over without invalidating the warranty, so I'm stuck with using them as a musical blindfold until the warranty runs out.Quality control is obviously none existent.

Not for me.
This is a personal review so no offence to anyone else using this or the item itself. I didn't like this. The sound quality is really good, the fit was good but the actual access to functions & general quality I felt wasn't great. The speakers dug into my ears too much & I woke up with one of the speakers hanging out with the cable trailing. I hardly move in bed due to various surgeries so it's not like I'm rumbling about in bed. Lastly trying to press the buttons was annoying as the unit kept moving in the fabric pocket so I had to remove it, align the panel to the fabric with the buttons then put it back on. I gave up.

hurts my ears
They work fine, they don't slide around on my head leaving me with ridiculous hair but............they do hurt my ears :( I thought they'd bit more comfortable, but the speakers basically sit almost directly on your ears and they press on them. I can manage a half hour walk with them on, but my ears are hurting by the time I get home. Also I have to move the leathery bit to line up the tiny hole and the light to see the light to see whether it's on or what it's doing, that's a bit of a design flaw

Brilliant
This headband is great not just for jogging but as a pair of headphones the sound is high quality very nice you do have to adjust the drivers wen you first get it which is a bit fiddly and they can be a little bit painful on one side of your head on one ear at times but other than that they are great the different sizes of lead are really useful and the head band stays on your head easily. NOt as descreet as I though but I don't care the Sound is actually brilliant for a pair of twenty quidheadband things While running they are great to wear

Electric shocks to the head!
This would be great, I assume, for use with an iPod or phone or anything that uses batteries.I run on a treadmill; and plugged these into the stereo jack of my TV, which in turn is powered from the mains. The sound quality and volume was perfect, but the moment I started to sweat, I began getting small electric shocks to the head, accompanied by flickering and cutouts on the TV.Much too disconcerting an experience to continue with, so I swapped them out for my old set of headphones after only a couple of minutes.Big disappointment.

Brilliant for running enthusiasts.
This is absolutely brilliant! It has made my runs awesome. It was such a pain having to keep pushing my headphones back in, but this keeps everything perfectly in place. It also keeps your hair right out of your face. Better still, you can take out the ear plugs and handwash this, so that it doesn't get all sweaty and smelly (it dries overnight). Never again will my running be music free! :) Best running equipment ever. Thanks.
