I'm not one to write reviews, but when I saw several with 1-2 stars in the mix as I went to re-order I decided to speak to them as best I could.I really like this product. I have had sensitive teeth for years now, particularly in spots where I've had dental procedures in the past. After complaining about it to several friends, one of them suggested that I try this product since it actively rebuilds the surface of your teeth. I'm always skeptical of claims like that, but after reading a bit about the idea of remineralization I decided to give it a shot. While this stuff isn't cheap, it seemed worth trying. I am very happy that I did so. After using it once a day for three days in a row, the two painful spots on my teeth felt as good as new. All pain and sensitivity were gone, and stayed gone even when I ate cold foods or drank hot coffee. I'm not a dentist so I can't rightly say that my teeth are "healing," they sure feel like they are. And ending the discomfort was well worth the price of the mouthwash.To speak to people's complaints (other than the one about prostitute feet, which I'll leave to those with direct experience), I'll take it step-by-step:- This stuff has a crazy strong flavor. To me it tastes like clove oil with a little mint mixed in. It doesn't burn like Listerine or anything, but the flavor is intense and lasts a long time. And while I don't particularly like it, I've gotten used to it without much trouble. Just know that it's entirely different in flavor than the name brand mouthwashes we've all grown used to.- It's also salty tasting, and for the first week after I started using it everything I ate tasted saltier than normal. After awhile that faded away though, and after a month everything tastes normal again. I don't know why this happens - Hey Uncle Harry, can you speak to the cause? Regardless, I understand why people are bothered by it, but again it's worth it for me. Especially since it does go away after awhile.- I use this stuff after I brush my teeth at night. I swish water after brushing, then squirt maybe 2 teaspoons worth of the mouthwash straight into my mouth along with about the same amount of water. It's not a ton of liquid, but it's easy enough to move around my mouth and swish vigorously for a couple minutes. When I'm done I spit it out but I *don't* rinse afterwards. Then I sleep, sometimes with a mouthguard to keep me from grinding. Maybe if I rinsed afterwards then I wouldn't have gotten that lingering salty issue, but then again the whole point of this product is to raise the pH of my mouth so why not leave a little in there while I sleep? Your mileage may vary, but it works for me.- Oh yeah, and don't forget to shake the bottle each time before you use it. Some of the ingredients settle to the bottom pretty quickly.In short, the mouthwash takes some getting used to, and everyone should know that before they try it. But I believe that it's 100% worth taking the time to adjust to it. 3 months after buying my first bottle I am absolutely satisfied with it, and will continue to buy it in the future.

I know this sounds weird, but I've been using this stuff as a toner for the past week and it made all my acne clear up. Even the scars are fading. I know that's not what this stufd was intended for, but let me tell you it works better than any acne wash on the market!!!

I developed some health problems that immediately attacked my teeth. Decay suddenly began running rampant through my mouth. In a panic I started researching reasons for this. Having an overly acidic body makes your saliva acidic. When that is the case, your saliva does not do the job it is supposed to do, clean your teeth. It becomes part of the enemy. I have started to make dietary changes as outlined in the book, Cure Tooth Decay with Nutrition to change the acidic balance of my body from the inside. I have also started using this product to change the acidic environment from the outside.I love this product. Wait, let me say that again... I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!! I buy the biggest bottle and keep two refillable bottles in my purse; one is full strength, the other is half strength. I brush my teeth with the half strength before meals or coffee and then rinse the full strength after every meal (or coffee) to make sure the alkaline environment is best for my teeth. I do not brush after meals because I read that enamel is softened by meals and can be brushed away. Wait an hour. I also rinse with this product full strength after brushing before bed. My breath is great for hours!!!This product may be strong, but I can say that the first time I used it, it told me where every cavity was, if you know what I mean!! By the third use in the same day, my cavities did not hurt. I love the flavor and the smell of this product and will continue to buy it, over and over and over.

This is my absolute favorite brand of mouth products! It is pretty strong so beware, but I'm sure can be diluted. It's also great for warding off sore throats during cold season being full of antiviral/antibacterial properties.Since I began using uncle Harry's dental products, I no longer have inflamed gums and my teeth health have improved drastically! After 3 wks my dentists was wanting to know what made the difference because my gums and teeth had actually improved! But of course they said it was just coincidence, it couldn't be that it was a natural product that made the difference! Go figure...!!

I love everything about this stuff, however my taste buds are affected. Food does not taste the same since I've been using it....does anyone know if that will go away?

I bought this because my daughters teeth were bothering her, (she is 6) . I wanted to strengthen her enamel and prevent cavities. When it came, I tried to get her to gargle with it but she hated it. So, I decided that I would use it. I use listerine usually. The taste was awful to me. It's an indescribable taste...overly miny but salty and slightly bitter...I was going to return it BUT my mouth and teeth felt soooooo clean and fresh after using it. I kept with it, and after each use I became more used to it. I just ordered my second bottle. It has strengthened my sensitive gums and teeth and improved my oral health greatly!

This mouthwash does a great job in removing (for me) the slight tarter feel on my teeth. Since we retired, I have not been able to visit a dentist every 6 months (it's been about 8 months now). I wanted to find something that would help to get my teeth to feel smooth and clean. I brush 2x a day. This mouthwash did it, and also reduced my sensitive areas to almost non existant! I use 6 or 8 drops in a little water and swish for about 20-30 seconds every evening. I have recommended it to a few friends who are also retired and cannot see dentists very often. Recommended.
