Ten Years After - Live from the Marquee Club, London

I saw Alvin Lee (can't remember if it was solo or with TYA) around this time and he absolutely blew me away. It was very easy to see what all the Woodstock hype was about. Another mention goes to Mr. Leo Lyons. One of my favorite bass players. Man that guy's got energy and plays with the same passion and emotion as his band's leader. It was great seeing him do his thing! This video was a nice reminder of that time. One star knocked off because 1.) The poor keyboard player playing his heart out at times barely gets any face time due to the camera angles and 2.) The video was too short at just under an hour. Of course 4 hours of constant Ten Years After would still be too short for me :)! R.I.P. Mr. Lee, you are sorely missed!

Sound and images are not that great but in relation with the age of this concert it's a great rememberance to a great guitar player and musician.

real Ten Years After while still in their prime. However most of the song are generic blues and rife with clichés. Somewhat a disappointment, best song is first song. Not a representative video of Alvin Lee!

You a TYA fan? well this is a DVD that you must own, great 25 yr. showing of one of the best bands ever...RIP Alvin

55 minuti di un concerto del 1983 al Marquee di Londra dei Ten Years After nella loro formazione originale. Audio e video solo poco più che sufficienti, ma loro dal vivo sono sempre una forza della natura (non solo Alvin Lee, che comunque è stratosferico). Peccato si tratti solo di un estratto del concerto, ma i loro pezzi più belli ci sono tutti. P. S.: la woodstockiana I'm Going Home e' inserita in un medley diun quarto d'ora insieme ad alcuni classici del rock roll nel finale del concero. Nel complesso un discreto dvd, considerato il suo costo intorno ai 5 euro.

Uno de los mejores conciertos de Ten Years After, que captura su esencia en lugares pequeños, en donde solía ser fantástico. Las interpretaciones son muy buenas y ninguna tiene desperdicio. ¿Como estará de bueno que la "menos buena" es I'm Going Home ?Indispensable para todos los fans del grupo y un concierto difícil de conseguir por otros medios. Muy recomendable.

Gutes live album von 1983, empfehlenswert. Aber vorsicht, esist schon mitvöllig anderem cover als *live at the marquee* erschienen.
