I couldn't be happier with it,as I charged it according to the directions,and it works fine...why pay 2or3 time this price for the same product!

the specs for the battery say for Sony Cybershot DSC-F707, but this does not seem to be the case with KastarUSA merchant's battery sent to me. It is either defective or not the same one matching their description. This battery when used as the only power source ie. (not powered by electric thru the cameras DC cord) will cause an error message "for info Lithium battery only" and immediately cause the camera to shut off.

This battery charged up quickly and seems to have plenty of power. It holds its power reasonably long when camera is not being used.

I bought in January a Sony R1, I bought this battery as a spare to the original. It displays normally the time of charge and it last the time it says. Unfortunately there is a but... BUT sometimes appears a message in the camera "just for infolithium only" or something similar. It doesn't occurs always, but frequently, in most cases when a turn on the camera with the screen activated instead of the viewfinder.I don't see damage in my camera but for security I have bought a original battery. Said that this battery seems ok and in seven months my camera is working ok, just that message is a bit annoying.The original battery can last several days with a normal use or half a day using it like a demon of photography, but I like to shot landscape photography in my country and that means be totally alone in places with no much chance to get electricity, so a spare to me is a must.

I ordered an FM50 but what was sent was an FM30. Said FM30 on the battery. It worked but did not show the correct charge after charging. I contacted the seller and they said they did not have an FM50 and gave me a rebate for half the battery cost. That was nice but they should have sent me the battery I ordered.

I needed this extra battery for my camera and it works great! It arrived within the promised time frame

Charged and in good working order. I was able to sell a very old Sony Handycam that had old batteries that would no longer take a charge.

Got several of these cause I have a Sony camcorder and a Sony CyberShot digital and they give plenty of power.
