EverTone EMS Hips Trainer and Butt Toner Helps To Lift, Shape and Firm the Butt

I have Sickle Cell and I have Avascular Necrosis in both of my hips & my shoulder. I'm in pretty much chronic pain and sometimes it gets bad enough to the point I cannot even walk. I've been introduced to different ways to deal with pain over the years. TENS Units/electrical massagers have been a big part of that. I very stupidly misplaced my TENS and ordered this as an replacement after searching in home came up with nothing. This was not my replacement and that's because I didn't read the details better myself. This won't work for my needs. The batteries that came with it were dead and useless. I used my own and it turned on at least. It doesn't boast very much power in massager mode (at least not enough to offer me any relief). The actual unit is much larger than I expected. The acupuncture pen is the only reason why I'm keeping this and not gifting or sending to storage. It says it can help with circulation and that's one of the main things I have trouble with. It's helped a fair bit already. The gel that is included was nice but BEWARE if you have sensitive skin. I had an allergic reaction to it. Not a regretful purchase but I wish I had read it better.

Mine arrived exactly as described, including the pads, lotion, pen and batteries. Everything appeared to be appropriately packed, although the outer box shell did appear to have been re-taped on each end, and there was no shrink-wrap, as one would normally expect with a new item.This is quite a nice TENS machine, and at $25 it's easily the best one in the price range in terms of value for the money. It's got more than enough power for me. The feature I like the most is the ability to taylor the settings for your particular needs. Most of the devices in this range only provide 3 to 6 preset patterns and an intensity control. This one affords you the ability to chose from presets or alternately select one of three modes and then adjust for both speed and intensity. Having a speed setting is really nice, but it's important to understand that the speed setting adjusts the speed at which the overall pattern (mode) repeats itself, not the frequency of the signal. What's still absent is a frequency setting, and that can make a huge difference. I am rating it 4 stars instead of 5 due to the absence of a variable frequency setting.I tested the acupuncture pen, and it works fine. I don't really have much use for it at this point, though. NOTE: It's important to use the conductive lotion with the pen, otherwise you will get a stinging jolt. One concern I have is that the specialized lotion isn't available at local retailers. I don't know whether another lotion will work or not. The right conductivity is essential. Too little, and current won't flow. Too much, and it will sting.As far as pain relief, I find this machine to be quite effective so far. I like having four electrodes instead of two. I suffer from chronic pain due to spinal stenosis. While this device doesn't appear to cure anything, it certainly helps relieve pain in the moment, and it's especially helpful in making life tolerable when pain occurs at night or between doses of medication.I would recommend this unit to a friend.

I am on my 2nd one because my daughter dropped my first one and it broke. I guess for $25ish, it's not too bad, but it would be nice if it could withstand being dropped. However, aside from that, when the electrodes become not sticky enough, I just use the massage lotion on it and it sticks fine for that one use, so that way I don't have to keep buying new electrodes. It works well, just like if they were totally new electrodes with the massage lotion.I tried the acupressure pen and didn't notice anything, so not sure if this was worth it or not.I do a lot of typing and on the computer all day, so sometimes my arms and back get really tired. The tens unit works well on these muscles, helping them relax. The unit is small enough to carry in a small bag, so portable. It uses 2 AA batteries (I think it's AA). This tens unit has been able to help my muscles relax better than even physical massage and is a good compliment to my trigger point therapy. Helps in the healing process more quickly.I've used this on my arms, neck (not a good idea since the skin is thinner here), upper & middle back, quads. When I first started using this, my muscles were so tense and I had to have it at a setting of 7-8 (the max is 10). Now, I'm usually in the 3-4 range, which means my muscles are more relaxed. Yay!The price is great and it's a great little unit.

If I were to review this product after using it one time or even two or three times I could have given it 4 stars. It worked. It worked once. It worked twice. It sorta worked three times. And then it quit. You remember that little girl with the curl right in the middle of her forehead? When she was good, she was very very good, but when she was bad she was horrid? Yea: that's this product.At my physical therapists they use an electrical stimulation machine that I was told cost nearly two thousand dollars. Who knows. This I do know: this little machine worked as well as the PT's machine. Once or twice. I'll admit: for something as low priced as this unit I did not expect it to perform like a machine costing 100X more. BUT....I didn't expect it to quit after three uses either.It gets both its two stars because Amazon took the machine back. Its applicable policy meant I have to wait for my credit but Amazon makes the return process as painless as possible. Otherwise it would have been a 1Star product.
