Easy to Use, Good Coffee, Apparent Solid Build Quality - Still Working 10 Years Later!
** 10 year update: it's now 9/2024 and the B145 is still going strong. For what it's worth, I only fill it with spring or store-bought filtered water as the tap water in my area is so hard. **I purchased the Keurig OfficePRO B145 to replace a Bunn MCU My Café. (The Bunn was a fine machine but I returned it because the final spurt of coffee consistently sprayed all over the base- and back-plates.)The Keurig manual is well-written with clear instructions in initial set-up and ongoing usage. The OfficePRO feels solidly-built, though not quite as sturdy as the Bunn MCU I traded in. It's easy to use, convenient and the reservoir negates refilling with water for each usage. The three fixed cup sizes without additional control over brew strength means you can't tailor a cup the way you can with a Bunn, but I had no problem getting an acceptable cup of coffee. Temperature seemed about the same between both the Keurig and Bunn. Neither machine is quiet, nor are they extremely noisy: they both sound like a quieter cappuccino machine. The `Auto off' feature is nice though probably best-suited for an office environment - where this machine is designed to go - because you have to power on the machine again and let it warm up. The plastic odor in the reservoir diminished quickly and never affected the taste of my coffee.Interestingly, Amazon and most web reviews call this a model B145, but the outer cardboard shipping box says K145.K-Cup Samples: The listing indicated four k-cup samples are included and the box says twelve: mine came with twelve. Other reviewers indicate receiving anywhere from twelve to 192(?).Warranty: Be aware that if you use this `UL Listed for Commercial Use Only' appliance in your home, then Keurig can conceivably deny warranty claims. Per their `Statement on Appropriate Use of Keurig Commercial and Home Brewers,' "Due to the differences in intended use and design between our UL listed commercial brewers and our UL listed household brewers, Keurig does not honor warranties on products used outside of the UL standard to which it was certified. This means, for instance, that a brewer verified to a UL standard for the household environment used in a commercial setting is not covered under our warranty." The reason given is that even though the commercial-grade appliance is more robust, it may not meet certain more stringent requirements (safety, etc.) that apply to items listed for use in households. Personally, this does not concern me at all but it's something to consider.I am very pleased with the Keurig OfficePRO B145 and recommend it for its apparent build quality, ease of use and ability to produce good coffee!

Better than expected! My worries have been totally negated!
I am writing this review after four weeks of using this multiple times daily. We love it.Yes, it makes a bit of noise when taking water from the reservoir, but it's only for a tiny bit of time and to be honest, I don't even notice it anymore, even if my husband is using it in the middle of the night while I'm sleeping in the next room with open doors between us.Although I'm American, I don't currently live in the US and so the variety of available K-cups is dismal (or at least the ones that can be shipped to me without paying a fortune in extra costs, that is). And so we use the ekobrew Cup, refillable filter for Keurig Brewers, Brown, 1-Count and it works perfectly. Now we can have any coffee grounds we want and can buy it locally but still have it work in our Keurig. My big concern when getting a Keurig is that I thought the main selling point was that it was instant brewing, but I didn't want a machine that had to constantly be plugged in and on and drawing on electricity. We have switches above every outlet in our house so that we can turn them on or off at our convenience without unplugging each appliance. As such, I always have all currently unused electronics plugged in but not receiving electricity until we need to use it. I thought that doing this with the Keurig would negate the instant brewing purpose, and if we didn't have that then why not just get a regular coffee maker? I gave into my husband anyway and we set this one up immediately and I soon realized that even from a totally turned off position, the time from setting up to a steaming cup of coffee is still extremely minimal. In fact, I turn it on, prep the ekobrew cup, grab a mug, and by then the water is heated and ready. I don't even notice a wait time.Even though this model doesn't have an iced coffee setting, it is one of my favorite things to make and easy. To defeat the watered down taste from the ice cubes, I just bought really strong coffee to mix with the vanilla grounds I like the best for iced coffees. If I'm making 6oz, then I put just a little bit of strong grounds, and if I'm making 10oz then I usually mix the grounds half and half. Works every time. The only bad thing that has come with this Keurig is the fact that my coffee consumption has skyrocketed since I work from home. It's just TOO easy to make so I can't even use the excuse that I don't have time during my work to step away and make a cup because it's even faster than my bathroom breaks :)
